The Hotel Seurahuone is a comfortable hotel with long traditions, established originally in the 1940s. Our convenient location in the center of Riihimaki, is within 500 meters from the Matkakeskus railway and bus station. The hotel has 35 rooms, good meeting facilities, four restaurants: Bull'et American Diner, J. A. Sandels Pub and nightclub Iskelmäbaari. The hotel has its own free parking.

We stayed with two dogs in a room on the second floor. 120 € for a room where you could hear the noise from downstairs so loud that you couldn't sleep until 04:30, even earplugs didn't help. YES, they told us that there MAY be some noise from downstairs, but such a room should not be sold to anyone ! The breakfast was rich, but the warm food was already cold when the breakfast service started. The hotel is old and the rooms are worn. Never to that hotel again !

I stayed at the hotel with a colleague for a week. Room seemed to be ok and breakfast doable. However it transpired that my bed had a ved bug!! Our room was changed and I had to go to pharmacy for treatment. No apologies were forthcoming and no allowance for the discomfort suffered was made for us. The least I expected was some consideration. Moreover the cleaning of the room was not so great. A pillow I forgot had fallen to the floor was still there in the evening!!!

Our room was hot as hell! I asked a room with Air conditioning but answer was that there is none. Not sure if they meant to say "none available AT THE MOMENT" or just.. at all? Even tho Air conditioning is included in the room features.. Later we changed to the new room but it was as hot as the previous room. I'd say not worth of 120€ if you want to relax and sleep well. Hotel room was just ok, not anything special but not too filthy either. Looked kinda old but still was ok. Just way too hot at hot summer day.. Food and service etc was 5/5 tho.

We traveled with a pet and spent one night. Expectations were not so open-minded. When traveling with a pet then there is no choice. In this hotel price quality did not face, weaker than average. Room was cramped and in need of renovation. The pet was not taken into account,no drinking cups. no platform where to sleep. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. That's the pros.

Vety out dated hotel. Not too clean as well. Considering the Price range I was expecting a Litte more. Hot not well cleaned room. But it is what it is, not more than a city where it is located. What more can I say. Test it by yourself and make a judgement.

I got my money's worth. If you have to stay in Riihimäki, Hotel Seurahuone is close to everything. I believe that those staying in the 2nd or 3rd floor could have some issues with noise from downstairs etc, but staying in the 4th floor was comfortable. Breakfast was also good.

+ Decent price compared to other area hotels + Superb location in center of Riihimäki + Not too crowded, actually i saw only one customer around, and at 730 when i went to breakfast i was alone to enjoy quite nice sort of foods. - On second floor noise and partying people outside hotel gave me a few more grey hair...also hotels own night club gave some extra vocals to hear. - Little outdated interior But if you dont mind these extra noises and want in centrum hotel this might be your choise.

Best Western Hotel in RIIHIMAKI Finland is fair. We spent a hole day at the RIIHIMAKI Glass Museum and the Hunting Museum not far from the hotel. RIIHIMAKI has a railway station, with good communacation to HELSINKI.
