Arrived around half past 12 for a bar lunch on a busy Saturday. Sun was shining for a change. Ordered food and sat outside enjoying a cold beer. Took about twenty minutes for the food to arrive and when it did they had got my order wrong. I was left waiting for the correct order while my wife had no...

My expectations were high, so I was a bit disappointed by the room, but it was ok for one night. We were 4 and the family room is a little too tiny, the rooms are upstairs of the busy pub. The staff was polite, even if they are obviously giving more attention to the pub. We had dinner there, good...

Having previously had brilliant experiences in the shop inn was sadly let down by a very rubbery and watery macaroni cheese. Staff always a delight in there and most importantly they can pour a lovely pint. Gorgeous views sitting outside overseeing the scenic harbour

Stopped here for refreshments on a lovely sunny morning. It was pleasant to sit outside in the sunshine overlooking the harbour. We only had a quick Cupar so I can't comment much on the food and drink but the staff were nice and service good.

We loved the Ships Inn, personable staff, lovely room and the pub downstairs was great. Sitting outside, weather permitting, was the best, lovely views and the meals, both in the pub and in the restaurant, were great, In the area, the walk to Dunnottar Castle was a must do. We would return for sure, thanks for your great hospitality.

The hotel is a bijou even if small: the stairs leading to the rooms are narrow but the room was really comfortable and modernly furnitured. Perfectly cleaned. The bathroom was new and modern. The view was magnificent, on the harbour. We had dinner at the hotel' s restaurant and it was great. Nice people!!

Recently stayed just one night at the Ship Inn, excellent, greeted by very friendly staff and shown to our junior suite with sea view , very clean, large room, nice bathroom walkin shower, I had slight problem turning off towel rail, and bathroom door, even though new bit squeaky, but when mentioned next morning they said, they were going to...

My family of 8 people stayed at the Ship Inn for 2 nights in early July. My parents had a lovely large room over the restaurant and I had a great room on the top floor over the bar area. My room had a comfortable queen size bed and a very large bathroom. the view looked straight out onto the...

I definitely enjoyed my brief stay at the Ship Inn. I found it quite comfy, cozy and clean. Perfect spot to walk from if you are heading to Dunnottar Castle along the cliffs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, the restaurant and bar are not to be missed. No doubt that I would stay there again!
