We are not staying there but wanted a nice quiet breakfast with a sea view off the main road. Nothing is too much trouble and we had a lovely breakfast with fruit, pancakes, eggs, home made jam, muffins and pancakes on offer. It is a much nicer place to sit than the main road cafes. I recommend a detour. Look for the sign off the main road near the beach.

This was a peaceful, tropical oasis. We spent 6 nights in one of the apartments with a beautiful view of the sea and was excellent value for money. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and avoid a rain shower! The location is perfect, close to Las Galeras town but a short walk to the beach. Plus, being at the end of the road means no traffic passing and some very peaceful nights with only the sound of crickets! Nicole was so welcoming and helpful from the start, especially with advice about local places and arranging a trip for us to Playa Rincon. We particularly looked forward to her meals and probably sampled everything on the menu! She is a fabulous cook; we particularly enjoyed her homemade pizza and seafood dishes. We rented an apt for a few nights after deciding we didn't want to put up with the motorcycle noise on the main highway. Jose was a terrific host, always available with information and helpful tips that enhanced our stay. We had a 2-story loft apt, simply furnished, minimal kitchen but such a pleasant place to hang out. There is a lovely balcony off the second floor bedroom where you can sit and rock and look out onto the lovely gardens and spectacular sea forever. The breakfasts on the restaurant patio were particularly lovely. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful place.

We just returned from El Marinique and had a lovely time. Nicole is a pleasant host and most helpful with whatever your needs may be. The apartment with the loft bed is comfortable, clean and roomy. It has a kitchen with a refrigerator and stove if you prefer to cook but the restaurant is just steps away. The bathroom is small and could use some updating but if you're staying here just for the room, you missed the point. The location is excellent with a beautiful view of the water, close enough to town but far enough from the noise and all within walking distance to a spectacular beach. The grounds are lush with beautiful mature plantings. Nicole makes a nice full breakfast that I heartily recommend for a few more dollars. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Wifi is free and available in the dining and bar area. It was a delight to stay here and we can't wait to come back!…

I appologize for my late review. Crazy winter! Nicole has a fantastic spot in Las Galeras. Clean, well kept, wonderful landscaping and view, great service and fantastic food, all at more than reasonable prices. If you want a place to simply be, this is your spot. Quiet. Action only a few minutes walk away if you want it. Wonderful beach only 10-15 min. walk away. Decent beach only 3 min. walk. Great Pizza! Make sure to let Nicole know during the day if you wish for pizza that evening as she makes the dough fresh for each pie! Great bread for breakfast and we were lucky enough to gain the recipe. Thank you so much, Nicole, Santos and the girls! We will be back. Richard and Laurie Thorn
