The view from our room was amazing but the rest of our stay was only fair. Would not recommend this place as the cottage we stayed in had a very poor bed and the pillows were very lumpy. The owners were friendly enough but did not go out of their way to make your stay interesting

We had a great time at this b&b. Our hosts were super to deal with. I had inquired by email and was phoned back the same day to make our reservations. We were welcomed, shown our cabin and felt right at home. The cabin is a small cabin with bathroom (stand-up shower) the cabin itself has a chest of drawers,...

I rarely submit reviews but I wanted to for Two Tittle because of the unfair reviews I read before booking with Cyril and Marg. I read some poor reviews that the hosts were cold or rude and this is NOT the case. They responded quickly and politely to my emails. When I arrived they quietly and kindly greeted me, showed...

Ok (having now been to this place) I think I understand why reviews range from "perfect" all the way down to "abysmal". It's all a matter of whether you 'get' the shtick of hosts Marguerite and Cyril Dunphy. Their eyes sparkle, but their faces are dour. They've seen it all, for thirty years. They do it their way -- don't...

This B&B is pricey for sure. The rooms in the house are musty, and the towels are impossible to use, the smell so bad of must (they must be drying them on a line in the basement). Oddly, the sheets on the bed were just fine. But the location is beyond expectations and the walk out to the Two Tittle's...

We stayed in the cottage so we had complete privacy. There's nothing fancy about the cottage but it was comfortable, warm and meticulously clean. If the weather hadn't been unseasonably cold, the little porch would have been nice to sit out in the evening. The best part is the hosts. Cyril and Margarite couldn't have been nicer. They were really...

One of the highlights in our travels through Cape Breton as it allowed us to stay in a less touristy spot, meet the locals, get to see a bit of the lobstering operations, not to mention amazing views of the sunset and of the rugged Atlantic Coast if you walk out to the Two Tittles which is a must-see even...

We were excited to stay in this small fishing village and had made reservations for the ensuite room. When we arrived we found that the small cottage was available and only $10 more, so we took it for the two nights. Cyril and Margerite were very nice and we enjoyed talking with them about the village, lobstering and Nova Scotia...

This B&B offers a very nice view on the harbour and the bay, but... that's about the only positive thing here. If you go out of the house in the evening you can see nice sunsets. The hosts (old couple) were not friendly, we didn't feel welcome at all. The little room we had was 99$ a night, not a...

My wife Judi and I stayed three nights here in early August and had a fine time. We had the downstairs room (with sink and toilet) and it smelled just fine to us--not moldy as the previous reviewer has suggested! The window peeks out to the bay from under the dining room area, which is just fine as we are...

“Rose's room is a Queen with a private bathroom but the door is RIGHT where Cyril and Marg sit in the living room to watch tv.”

“This is a B and B, not a hotel and is delightful. If you can, ask for the cottage as it is really nice, has a small deck and the sunset viewing is superb.”
