Only one room (Sarah's Room) is available to rent at this time. Stan & Carol will make you feel right at home. Delightful conversation, good advice on local sights and where to eat, and delicious breakfast. Good place to make your home while seeing sights of the Marconi Trail!

Carol & Stanley will make your stay a joy whether for 1 night or many. We stayed in Sarah the room at the front named for their daughter. It was very comfortable every thing you need and a water cooler on the landing. They gave us advice about where to eat as choice in Glace Bay is somewhat limited and...

We were in the area, and found this on the Internet and decided to give it a try. Are we ever glad we did. The Rectory is wonderful. Very clean and well kept. The bed was especially comfortable. We stayed two nights at this delightful, refurbished church rectory. As wonderful as our accommodations were, what made this stay beyond special were Stan and Carol. We don't know if they always are able to spend as much time with their guests as they spent with us, but their company was so very enjoyable for us. Stan has traveled a...

Port Morien Rectory B&B was a beautiful house. Hospitality from Carol and Stan was great and they were able to provide lots of info about the local area. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable and we had clean towels everyday. The breakfast was lovely and all homemade. A real home away from home. Port Morien itself does not...

Stan and Carol (anybody watch "The Cafe") are your wonderful host and hostess at the Rectory and while not quite as old as the building had nearly as much character. Just joking Stan. They are very good company and of course, as you've heard, the breakfasts are sooo good. Our first B&B was a big success. P.S. Be sure to...

Prepare to be totally spoiled by your hosts, Stan and Carol! Once again Trip Advisor led me to another hidden gem. This lovely B and B is situated in the sleepy town of Port Morien, the site of the first coal mining on Cape Breton. We had Jonathan's room while our friends stayed in Sarah's. Both were comfortable and filled...
