Nice place at the very shore of lake Peipsi. Two-story rooms are big enough to fit also bigger family. Breakfast was excellent and hostess & other staff so helpful and super friendly. Table football, billiard, antique shop included.

This place is located directly on the shore of Lake Peipus. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. But the best part is friendly and helpful hosts and I want also say only good words about the breakfast! It was possible to rent bicycles and to go to discover old believers villages and Alatskivi. I suggest this place!

B& B is on a shore of a beautiful and magic Peipsi lake. Used to be a historic house, converted by Dutch man into exotic b&b , full of antic furniture. Good wi fi. Big basement is used as enterteinment area and breakfast room. Breakfast was very generous and much more than people can eat. Coffee was excellent. Staff very friendly and great source of information. Loved every second we had been there. This is a place to return again and again.

Excellent location right at the lakeside, warm welcome, hearty breakfast. Appreciated very much multilingual choice of books available for use on place, would have been good to have reading lamps in the rooms, too.

Nina Korson is situated right at Lake Peipsi and is a nice little place to relax. The building is a former school and houses the local library. The bedrooms and common rooms all feature nice antique furniture. The owner is an antiques dealer and a lot of the pieces are available for sale. The other staff were also all very friendly and helpful. The common room has a pool table which is nice for evening entertainment. It also has a full kitchen which you can use to prepare your own dinners or you can BBQ outside. During the day you can take the boats and kayaks out to explore the lake. Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone who likes peace and quiet in a remote setting with quirky furniture.

This is a very nice guesthouse at the shore of Lake Peipsi in Estonia. The personnel was friendly and helpful. Rooms good and the location really close to the beach. The village of Nina is very small but close to Alatskivi Manor.

Once upon a time a dutch antique dealer who met an estonian lady active in hospitality business. They bought this house, formerly a school and a watchstation for coastguards on the Lake Peipsi, facing the Russian Bear on the other side of the Lake.... They together transformed and furnished the building to create this hidden gem in a beautiful and non touristic landscape. You won't go there to "spend a night". But go to share. To share the feeling of local history in this magical house, were you also find real comfort (good beds and up-to-date showers). To share discussions with the owner who will be happy to introduce you to his passion for antiques as well as for this lost part of the world he wishes to stay undiscovered for decades... To share contact with nature sitting on the shore of or bathing in the Peipsi Lake, your only companions will be some local families hundreds of meters away barbecuing on the beach or walking into the water. To share finally the quiet, charming and welcoming life of the 5 kilometers away vilage of Alatskivi (Nina is a real small place with just some houses along the Lake). There, you can eat at the Kivi Körts, the small restaurant also owned by the dutch-estonian couple. We spend 2 nights there. I could have stayed much longer and would have forgotten what the occidental world is made of. Here, life is nothing else than a gentle flow of time among people within nature. Thank you Hans.

We were looking for something different , off the beaten track, and we found this lovely little guest house on the shore of lake peipsi. As long as you know why you are going there, you won't be disappointed. The welcome was warm and sincere, irina the hotel busy body was not only amazing with our little boy, but also prepared an awesome breakfast. Johanes the owner was delightful company and took the time to stop and have a chat, balancinghis time between different endevours. This place is the perfect base camp for discovering lake peipsi , but going without a car would be quite challenging ( probably the reason why it's still a hidden gem ). We really enjoyed the calm , the lovely walks around the lake and the old believers villages. The down side is the fact that (outside of the touristic season ) the restaurants in the area close at 18:00 and the omni presence of mosquitos ( nothing that deet can't handle ).thanks for the great stay and warm welcome.

Set in a small town on Lake Peipus, Nina Kordon is the perfect retreat. Innkeeper, Hans from the Netherlands, and his Estonian wife have spent five years refurbishing this old building and furnishing it with wonderful antiques. Our room was very comfortable and the common areas--sitting room with fireplace, pool table, table games, kitchen are equally as nice. Lake Peipus and the Old Believers are fascinating and Nina Kordon is the perfect rest stop while touring.
