We were here with a group of people for the bicycle Tour. One word:relaxing. Afterwards we had a small lunch served near the pool. Was very much attracted by the local cosy atmosphere, good and simpel food. The owner droge us back in his car to the hotel and gave Some info on things to visit. That is what a...

We visited Little Village the second time and we like it because of its familiarity. Hans and his wife and staff are lovely hosts. The rooms are simply but very comfortable. The pool is nice and Hans organize everything. A guide with car, a trip to tailor, a trip to an elephant farm, and and and. Best thin with Hans...

A wonderful "little village" set in peaceful surroundings but located just outside of Chiang Mai. Lovely hosts, helpful and knowledgable. The food is amazing and very plentiful!! The accomodation is clean, well kept and maid service daily. We travelled with a young family and found little village perfect for us. It was only a bus ride outside of Chiang Mai...

This party of three at a loss to understand why this property gets so many five star reviews. Interesting village layout, nice pool, nice rural location, lovely staff, especially Mae with her excellent English and who we quickly became fond of. Breakfasts were adequate but dinner menu limited, expensive (+100%) for Thailand and food indifferent at best. Kitchen closes ludicrously...

Dear Alasdair & Liz Gibson, Thank you for your review, we understand that we can not make everybody happy but it seems that you had no intention to have a nice stay. You call me arrogant, unkempt, not interested, little charm, Basil Fawlty, appalling behavior, Hans out of the way, could do with some training in the hospitality industry (I...

We stayed at little village for 5 days in January 2016. We had two days of extremely cold weather ever recorded in Thailand 11 degrees. So lunch and dinner was served in the kitchen. Staff is very friendly always willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had room no 3. King size bed airconditioning, fan, great shower and...

The owners Hans and Too along with their friends Marlene and Yaroon (sorry if that is spelled in correctly), made us feel at home. Unlike stuffy resorts where you are treated as an outsider, we were invited to join their Christmas celebration. If you like music, Hans has a great ear and wonderful playlists. If you can convince Hans to...

Close to Chiang Mai in distance but far from the busy city Atmosphere. We stayed here for 5 days with our three children (1, 5, and 9 years). Little village is clean, friendly, helpfull. The kitchen is nice and offers a great variety. The free to use bicycles and scooters makes the combination of staying in the nature but still...

Booked a week here because my girlfriend and I were taking a class nearby. First 4 days were fine, friendly staff and decent breakfast. On the morning of the 5th day my girlfriend noticed bites on her legs and butt. That night we pulled the sheets back and found bed bugs. This followed: - We talked to the owner Hans...

Best place we had in Northern Thailand. Very nice bungalows, food, atmosphere, pool and host Hans, who arranges high quality tours. Everything is possible. We had to go one evening to a local hospital with our daughter and were accompanied the whole evening with resort staff, That's what I call service and friendliness!

We took the 27 km bike tour and Thai clocking class tour with two young girls aged 10 and 8 and had a blast. Well kept bicycles, helmets, water were all provided. Route was easy and beautiful. Stops were interesting, guides were good and we had a blast. Later we ate lunch, chilled down in the pool, went to the...
