Tukta immediately made us feel welcome and at home at Northwest Guesthouse. Our room had a king size bed, bathroom, fan, a/c and en-suite bathroom. We had a great sleep! Right across the street is a restaurant with a pool table that serves great food and cheap beer and is a great spot to meet people. Northwest also offers organized...

The lady who owns this place is so welcoming and friendly. She booked the sheep and coffee farm trek for me and my friend and the guide was wonderful too. The room was basic, clean, and had an A/C. The guesthouse has other treks available but definitely check out the coffee tour. The farm exports to starbucks.

I did not sleep here but I was part of a 2 days trek organized by this guest house. The trek was not from their catalog and the guide, James, took us to various villages through jungle, mountain and waterfalls. We had the opportunity to eat and sleep in a Karen village. An authentic and beautiful experience, far far away...

This was a really convenient base for the night we were in Mai Sariang. The lady running things was super welcoming and friendly, despite being seemingly rushed off her feet! The room was only 500 baht, including breakfast, and was perfectly fine given that price. I wasn't totally convinced that the bedsheets were clean, however (I know the room is...

We booked a double room with private bathroom for 600 baht per night 24 hours in advance through Booking.com. We received email and text confirmation of our booking and I could go online to my Booking.com account and see it there also. Yet, when we arrived the woman at Northwest Guest House claimed she had had no such booking. She...

We paid only 450B for a double with shared bathroom - this INCLUDED a full breakfast in the morning. The owner was a delight, she was honest about the room and what she could or couldn't do for us (she could only serve breakfast, not lunch or dinner due to being the only staff on site). People who complain about...

We weren't expecting much for the price, but this place was well below our expectation. First when we arrived the owner seemed confused by our booking and didn't know we had made a reservation. The room she put us in was small with old run down furniture. The bedding was worn out and not clean looking. The room smelled musty and...

The owner, Tukta, is absolutely hands down, the friendliest, most honest, helpful person you will meet in Thailand! Her guesthouse is cheap, basic & laid back. It's the kind of place you end up meeting other interesting travellers and doing something fun you hadn't necessarily planned. It's not for those looking for anything fancy; but you won't regret it.

I booked this place based on reviews being pretty good and price being pretty cheap. I guess I got what I paid for. The room had a/c that was functional, a bathroom with strong hot water but no waste pipe on the sink so it lands on your feet, mosquitos and a net too small for the bed and with...

I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse. The owner is very friendly; whenever I saw her while she was eating, she offered me some food, haha! I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom; the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with hot water. Breakfast wasn't included in my rate, but I ordered an omelette one morning...
