We had a two night stay at the Bell Inn, as my partner was taking part in a rally and 4x4 day nearby. We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. The new management have only been there a week and despite obviously being work in progress, they could not do enough for us. The staff were...

location perfect for a peaceful break ,not far to travel from surrey. Room comfortable lovely views, breakfast first class. Nice big garden for children. Good railway links. Good place to explore the Cotswolds we went to Banford and Witney. Staff pleasant and sociable.can't understand the poor reviews, people expect so much but aren't willing to pay for it.

An oddly furnished pub, one of four in a small Oxfordshire village. Despite limited 'real ales' of which there were two, and a choice of other beers and lagers, it was welcoming. The food menu is reasonably expansive, and the quality belies the premises. It is worh a visit if in the area.

I booked a room for 2 nights for my partners birthday get-away. When we arrived I literally had to speak over a group of men at the bar to the barmaid. We were showed to the room (which the lady was inspecting as she showed us in) was advised food times and that was that. The room was nice but...

Got married on Friday 5th August and went on a 'mini-moon', as well as my wife's 40th birthday present, to Wilderness festival. Booked the room in January/February 2016 and confirmed via phone, providing card details to secure the booking. Also had email confirmation of booking. Turned up to be told they didn't have our booking and they could give us...

The previous reviewer said it "hotel in poor repair with elusive staff", but I must say that the three staff that we met during our stay were very pleasant and helpful and should not be put within the overall rating. Accepting that our booking information stated that one could not book in until 4 o'clock in the afternoon this is...

No one on reception when I arrived. Had to go to the bar to ask to check in. Was shown to my room, given keys, told time of breakfast and left to it. Bed was lumpy. Room could do with redecoration, especially the bathroom. The next morning I couldn't get the shower to work. Water leaked from the shower hose....

We stayed here for just one night recently. We arrived mid afternoon and checked in straight away. We chose a cheaper room when we booked online, but even so the room could do with a little tlc. The whole place is lovely and old, crooked and creaky, but the room itself was decorated in a more modern style. We chose...
