Our room was great (4) with lovely bed. New linen, fresh coffee, Neal's yard toiletries, Blenheim Palace water both still and sparkling on both sides of the bed...and so on. Immaculately clean and quirky decoration. Young, attentive, friendly and kind staff. Evening meal was average. Breakfast was first class. Great coffee and open fireplace to read the papers next to...

We had two wonderful nights at The Bull. Extremely comfortable bed, delicious food and delightful, enthusiastic, young staff. Peaceful and close to Buford and Daylesford. Great breakfast and really good coffee. Will definitely come back!

This place is an absolute gem of a find, and if travelling in the region again, will definitely stay here. We had room 4, extra large bed, ensuite with bath and walk in shower. The room was outstanding, considering this place is very old. So clean and full of lovely lavish bed linen and furnishings. Spacious, very quiet considering it...

We recently spent a night, in a twin room in the Barn. Although the staff were extremely kind (but have to agree with someone who said they were a bit over the top caring!) am sad to report that our room was hopeless: Nowhere to put anything (clever apology for a wardrobe but frankly you can't hang up every item...

Wonderful, cute little hotel. Service was excellent upon arrival, the gentleman on reception kindly came to our car and helped carry bags and showed us to our room. The room itself was absolutely beautiful including a lovely bed, bath and good sized TV. Nice food and drinks in the attached bar/restaurant and checking out was simple and quick. Also a...

We, (my wife and I), think you will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming and well run Inn. Having visited and stayed in a number of hotels and pubs throughout the Cotswolds, the Bull is a strong contender for our favourite. It aims to be a pub, a restaurant, a hotel and somewhere to pop in maybe for...

It's 4 degrees outside, grey and drizzly. We have booked a table in the Cotswolds at a pub well reviewed in our local paper. We anticipate a roaring log fire, cozy and welcoming. We walk in. The fire in the bar is dying in the grate and we are shown to a dark table in the corner of the restaurant...

Disappointing meal and menu. Extra cost for fries made the Bulls burger expensive. Unusual to buy a burger and you pay extra for the chips. Staff attentive but overly so it felt uncomfortable. Glass of wine extortionate nearly a tenner for 250mls. Embarrassing gratitude tip added on which I asked to be removed. Overall nice environment but don't go if...

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review our pub on trip advisor and i am sorry that you feel we are snobbish. We aim to give our guests the best possible food, time and service and try and offer a range of choices in each price bracket so that there is wine available at all...

We dropped in at lunchtime for a quick snack before starting a long hike. The welcome we got from the staff was so cheerful and friendly and although they were pretty much fully booked they still squeezed us in. Everything about the place was fantastic: food, beer, service, staff, decor, loos, log fires, papers and magazines. My husband didn't want...
