I've stayed at Woodybanks several times - once with an elderly friend who made good use of the stairlift. The bedrooms are chintzy and comfortable and it's great to have your own sitting room. There are various seats around the garden where you can enjoy the wonderful view. Graham and Jackie are very welcoming and cater for your every need....

Upon inquiring about this B&B Jackie explained fully that there was a twin and a double room with a bathroom along the landing. Because of this she recommended that it was more suitable to a family that might take both rooms, friends who were happy with the arrangement, or a single or couple who could have either room. I completely...

Stayed at Woodybanks whilst walking the South Downs Way with a friend. We arrived at Woodybanks to be greeted by Graham and Jackie who gave us a welcome cool drink before showing us to our rooms. My room was a twin with a double aspect view over the garden and water meadows below. The room is small but the bed...

We were walking the South Downs Way and arrived to a very welcoming reception from lovely hosts. Cold drink and quick chat and up to our rooms which overlook the water meadows. Very clean and tidy but traditional slightly chintzy rooms. Shared bathroom nice and clean. Brilliant pub next door - The Sportsman - best night's meal in a whole...

This was an overnight stay whilst mountain biking the South Downs Way over 2 days with a friend and Jackie and Graham could not have been more helpful. First of all they were happy for us to leave an overnight bag the day before and collect it two days later. The weather was dry, so we didn't expect to arrive...

After a full day's walk along the South Downs Way Woody Banks was just what we needed. We were greeted with a warm welcome, drinks and lovely cake and biscuits. Jackie and Graham have two rooms and one bathroom but don't let out the two rooms to people that don't know each other, so you have your own private bathroom....

We enjoyed our return visit as much as the first. The hosts are so friendly, warm and hospitable, helpful and keen to please (came to our aid when our car got locked in overnight at a car park!). We had a wide choice for a lovely breakfast. Quiet rural location with a very comfortable lounge - we enjoyed the peaceful...

Just excellent. We spilt a drink on the bedding and Graham changed it without complaint and, furthermore, fit us up with a continental adaptor. Our room had a fabulous view with thoughtful extras such as binoculars to enjoy the wildlife. Lovely breakfast.
