My partner and I visited Amberley Castle for afternoon tea late last year. The castle is set in beautiful gardens and has been very well looked after. On arrival our booking could not be found for some reason but they were happy to fit us in when we arrived. I have to point out that the service could have been...

We chose the castle to stay on our last night in the UK. Great ambience, very comfortable room with en suite. Beautiful grounds. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer. Can actually say that we stayed in a castle.

Almost thirty Family and Friends gathered for a luncheon at this idyllic location, on a perfect late summer day to celebrate Ted and Maureen's Golden Wedding Anniversary with the formers, imminent eightieth birthday. The exquisite food courses suffered delayed serving but allowing good time for social intercourse. The one fish main was minimal to say the least but any problems...

We stayed 17 and 18 September 2016 – wife’s birthday. Marvellous weekend. Exceeded our expectations. We drove up about 400 yards of magnificent gravel path through the gates and under the rather threatening portcullis to be welcomed by the manager who with utmost courtesy showed us to our rooms and informed us of local walks, local tea shop, etc. Grounds...

I have just spent a delightful few hours taking afternoon tea at Amberley Castle. The sandwiches were tasty and the pastries imaginative and delicious. Because my Aunt was not able to climb stairs to the restaurant the manager served us tea in one of the lounges. Nothing was too much trouble and we had excellent service in very comfortable but...

We stayed at Amberley Castle for one night over Valentine's weekend. Absolutely stunning castle, beautiful grounds and impressive bedroom, with four poster bed and plenty of character. It really felt like a fairy tale. Staff very helpful and welcoming. We were booked in for dinner at the restaurant as part of our stay. We each had the tasting menu, which...

Sadly it seems it needs a bit of a makeover as internal facilities are fairly tired once you look past the exterior. Staff are friendly but lack it felt like much management organisation with...
