Pros: Near to temple (5 min walk) We visited two times to temple during the stay considering the proximty. They can arrange for cab for sight seeing. we have booked to visit pichavaram forest. Free buffet breakfast (taste is average) Cons: Hotel rooms are dark and old looking Old lift with a capacity of 4! room cost is very high... More

This is a seemingly nice hotel. I am sure the rooms which are air-conditioned would be a great elective for the stifling summer months, but those rooms were not available at the time we walked in. The rooms were clean and well provided for, but I could not sleep a wink due to the excessive heat within the room. It... More

I went on for a official trip to Chidambaram during Dec 2015 and stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was very clean and neatly maintained. The bathroom was also good. The room service was nice. The breakfast they offered was okay to say, but could have been much better. This hotel is located very close to one... More

Was there with cousins to visit the temple. The hotel is tucked at a nice spot right next to the temple. The reception and ambience is decent. Rooms need a makeover - pretty old bathroom fittings, furniture and curtains. And they charge a whopping 675 rs for an extra bed - doesn't seem any reasonable.

the check in was quick and smooth, we had a room on the first floor, which was bright and sunny, it was relativly clean and the beds were quite comfortable, everything seemed ok until the evening came and the place next door started business, (wedding reception took place), went on until late hrs and then again started quite early the... Food is forgettable. Rooms are reasonably ok. The air conditioner did not function properly and in the night we had to change the room. Staff very courteous but the hotel is badly understaffed. So despite all good intentions they are unable to provide good service.

Flying dragons (mosquitoes) were to invite me into the room. When reported to the reception (No housekeeping) they behaved indifferently. I had booked two rooms for my family. One of them had a geyser but no connection. The plug point was burnt out. When reported, it fell in deaf years. Cleanliness 4/5; Food 2.5/5; Hospitality 1/5. But still would go... More
