Our visit to Gibb's Farm was an excellent way to slow down and process all of the wonders we had experienced in Tanzania. Lovely accommodations, excellent food, and a beautiful oasis. Highly recommend

Gibb's Farm is a very special place off the beaten path. You travel off the main road for several miles to this garden of eden. Unbelievably self contained, from growing most of the vegetables, raising there own meat, beef, pork and chickens. Everything and I do mean everything is fresh and organic. One thing that stood out to me, everything... More

My husband & I stayed at Gibb's Farm for 2 nights as a welcome break in the middle of 2 weeks of safari in Tanzania. What a wonderful place! The accommodations, food & landscaping were all spectacular. As a gardener, I was blown away by the beautiful flower gardens on the property & took dozens of photos. We enjoyed a... More

Don't be discouraged by the road there, that's part of the charm. You can stop at the wood carvers on the way.(the best carvings we saw). Then you enter a beautiful landscape. Walk through gardens to find your suit. They are all different and spacious. The art work is amazing. Our suit had an out door shower, a bathroom that... More

We loves the colors, the vegetation, the FOOD! The grounds were peaceful and quietly. The staff was super friendly. The cabin was beautiful and well decorated. We also slept like babies! It's truly like they call it "a sanctuary for the senses". I would definitaly go back to this place!

Stayed at Gibbs for 2 nights while on way from Kilimanjaro airport to crater and then into Serengeti and wow... After a long day's travel we were greeted with fantastic hospitality and dinner was shortly served, again, blown away by the quality of food and premium wine selection to go with it. Arranged with the farm to provide one of... More

PROS: - Huge room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with no bugs (a pleasant relief after weeks being attacked by animals on safari). Beautifully decorated. Excellent open showers both indoors and outdoors. Had the maid light the fire for us and spent the evening sitting in front of it playing cards. - Activities. A list of numerous activities is displayed on... More

We had heard that Gibb's was not the most convenient place to visit the crater from....who cares, go! It is worth the extra 30 mins in the car. It is an incredible place, which is difficult to properly describe - photos do not do the place justice. It is a beautiful, lush setting up in the hills. The Gardens are... More
