One thing I'll never complain about Zambia and her people is the hospitality and friendliness. The best I've seen! The hotel is very inexpensive and the rooms are okay, though the condition of the whole structure could have been better preserved - many things aren't working, but again, all I look for is a bed and a shower, so for...

The people are very friendly here, like everywhere in Africa. This YMCA is in the outskirts of Zambia with hardly no whites which makes the experience so good and nice! I went to the market in Kitwe where i made my own cd which was cool and the day after I went to Chimfunshi: a chimpansee orphanage and project. Although...

YMCA offers the most inexpensive and reliable accommodation in Copperbelt, where an accommodation is not cheap for international travelers at all. An internet cafe and a food shop, which open till the late evening, are especially convenient because you cannot walk around the city after the dark. The only disadvantage should be the location.
