We came to Sacha Lodge inspired by the Royal Tour YouTube video the President of Ecuador did - if you're travelling to Ecuador we highly advise watching it for inspiration. The Lodge truly lives up to expectations and more. It's a massive plot in the middle of the Ecuadorian Amazon with their own canopy walk, luxury lodges, butterfly farm and...

As many other reviews have commented, getting to this lodge is a big part of experience. Representatives from the lodge meet you at Quito and Coca airports and help with checking in and luggage. The 2h boat ride is relaxing if the weather is good, or if raining, you can't wait for it to be over (which was the case...

We stayed at Sacha for 4 nights as part of a Neblina Forest birding tour, and it was an excellent part of our experience. Oscar was our birding guide, with Wilson, and they were outstanding--we saw a terrific number of birds, utilizing the wooden viewing tower, as well as the metal towers & bridges (not a good thing if you...

Thank you Sacha for a wonderful vacation! Pablo and Walter were amazing guides and accommodated all of our requests. My husband was dying to eat a palm grub and he had the opportunity to (and did) twice. Every single person who worked there was extremely friendly and eager to help/serve us. We loved going to the bar every night before...

Great staff, very knowledgable, and excellent food and service. VERY humid and hot at night. Even with fan on all night. Overall a g ood experience. The hike into the jungle was easy and flat, and the canoe ride thru the jungle to the lake and lodge was great...very peaceful. The only down side was that there are not as...

Set on a small lake by the Napo river in the Amazon this is a good way to experience the amazon in Ecuador. The rooms and restaurants were good to very good, but not top end luxury. I think they could do with a mixed crew of staff as the all male team did not quite manage the higher levels...

From the time you land in Quito until the time you are ready to leave for home you are looked after. One travels down the Napo river by canoe, a short walk thru the jungle and then another canoe ride across the lake. After being met by the manager we were shown to our room. Surprise, no locks, no windows,...

Wonderful place to visit. The small guided groups make it ideal if you want that real jungle experience away from the hoards of tourists. Professional and very friendly guide, great food and accommodation. A fantastic Amazon experience and I didn't want to leave.

This tourism product exceeded our expectations. The location on a lake was beautiful. The accommodation was a good blend of rainforest and modern amenities. Hot water was just enough for two so long as you did not wash long hair. Safe in room. Toilet paper does not go into the toilet. Food was a good quality and adequate quantity. Guides...
