Pretty small place (watch your head), but lies perfectly in the city center in walking distance of the old town, of the best restaurants and of the beaches. The Host doesn't speak english very well, but good enough to communicate about basic things. The self made breakfast is fantastic!

We stayed for 2 days. The little house and the rooms are decorated with love and we felt at home right away. Pitu the host is a lovely person with heart warming personality. She prepared a rich and wonderful breakfast with a lot of local choices that was served at a big table in the cute garden, where we could connect to the other guests. We would definitely stay again and recommend Pitu's lovely home to everyone who wants to visit the area! Definitely a good place to relax and to come home to.

We stayed there for three nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful - you feel like family. The rooms are small but offer everything you need. The interieur is very cosy and so is the small garden with the hammock and the lovely beach chairs. That's where you have your breakfast. Regional and delicious. Well presented and so relaxing that one could sit and eat for hours. We would definitely come again. Thank you, Birgit and Michael ;)

Highly recommended, we stayed for 2 nights, very comfortable and easy going. Breakfast was served outside which was absolutely beautiful. The host had a little bit of English but made us feel very welcome and the house has laundry facilities and right in the middle of town, great spot..

We have been to this beautiful, traditional and nicely decorated cottage several times, in summer and spring. The owners, Javier and Pitu, have become our friends and they are the nicest folks you can imagine. We felt very much at home and we enjoyed the breakfasts, the cooking, the music, the talks and jokes, the leasuring in the secluded garden . The house is on the main street of the village and the beach is about 5 to 10 minutes walking. Perhaps one of the nicest things about this acommodation is the house rules motto: "There are no rules, just common sense". A Pitu y Javier: Hasta luego !

We booked at A Casinha at the last minute, on our way from Lisbon to Algarve on the May bank holiday weekend and really enjoyed our stay - Pitu and her husband were extremely welcoming and the breakfast was amazing! I left my jacket and scarf in the room when we left and we had to return a few days later to collect it. The family went out of their way to arrange for us to pick up from the bar next door. Lovely service. The town is a great place to stay too.

We spend two night at this amazing guesthouse in june 2014 and had the best time! We got a wonderful and warm welcome of the owner when we arrived. After showing us our room and his house we sat down and had a beer in the cosy garden. The owner really made us feel like home. The house has a real portugese feel, you feel like your part of the village, a lot different then staying at a hotel. We had our breakfast in the garden where we got the best coffee in Portugal! The house is located very central with all the restaurants on walking distance. Vila Nova del Milfontes is a lovely little town, very charming. The village and this guesthouse is a really calm and relaxing place, highly recommended!
