We stayed here for four nights while hiking and exploring the Rota Vicentina. I imagine parking is impossible to find, but we arrived via bus. Perfect for our needs. The rooms (we had two) were very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, breakfast fine, not stand out. We never made it up to the rooftop terrace, darn, because the views from there are alleged to be spectacular. We were always too busy. Lots of great places to eat or grab an apero in the afternoon close by.

Stayed here early September as a stop over during a cycling holiday the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was spotless and well furnished. Located in the centre of town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants . Easy access to a beautiful beach which is a couple of minutes walk away. I would recommend.

Lovely little guesthouse in a fabulous spot in the town. Difficult to find and parking in a nearby car park but worth the effort. Nicely furnished rooms - up a few flights of steep stairs which is tricky with luggage but worth the trouble. Good beds/linens and breakfast was fine. The location was the winning aspect of this place.

Were there for one night, on an August wednesday. The location is unbeatable, in a beautiful square in Vila Nova de Milfontes. The rooms are clean and spacious, with nice decoration, plenty of light and big beds! We also had an interior terrace in our room. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast is a good continental buffet. They also have a nice rooftop terrace with views and a chillout area. Be aware that there’s no parking so you might have to park a bit far from the hotel. Well worth the 80€ we payed!

We stayed two nights to kick off our Rota Vicentina hike. The rooms are on the small side, but spotless and well appointed. The location is ideal since you're close to all the restaurants as well as the beach, some shops and the start of the trail. The breakfast was a real treat with all the usual items but also eggs made to order, dried figs, nuts, meats and cheeses etc. I would recommend this place. It also has a cute rooftop lounging area with nice views. Tip: the room window opens wide and the shutters can be closed at night (took us a night to realize).

I stayed here for one night while hiking the Rota Vicentina. Boy was I tired when I arrived – but everybody was so friendly. I realized I wasn’t going to make it four days with my huge backpack and they gave me the name of the company to book transport of my big bag (note - this is totally worth it. Spare yourself the hardcore points and just keep a day pack). The reception actually called the place for me to find out pricing (review of this to follow once my trip is done). My room was spotless although small (though some people I met while hiking said they had a suite and it was spacious). The size was totally fine for me. Location was very central - close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast the following morning was very good and in addition to the typical continental offerings they also cooked us eggs. A real selling point of this place is the rooftop where there’s a beautiful view of the beach and sunset...or so I hear. I unfortunately missed this as I fell asleep but some co-hikers let me know it was great. Overall a great spot in Vila Nova de Milfontes.

Homey and and nice, bright and clean. Designed in great taste with nice little touches - great value for money. Everything worked. We missed not hvaing a hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was very good but coffee could be better. I would definately come back😊

From the moment we stepped into Mil Reis we felt special. The staff were welcoming, helpful and informative. It’s small enough to offer personal service and that’s what we got. It’s a great place to stay and is centrally located in this pretty town. The roof terrace affords great views and was a great place to relax and to have a pre dinner drink (wine bought in the mini market next door). The beds are comfortable and the linen of good quality. My room even had a small bamboo plant. Although the shower cubicles are small, the bathroom is great and the water pressure good. And they fed us a good breakfast before we headed to catch the river boat at 9am.
