Stayed during Covid times - super clean and tidy guesthouse with just 4 rooms. Need to be able to walk stairs. Its simple and clean and quiet, yet right in centre of the town. Apparently a busy touristy place in normal times. Can order breakfast - we did not. Next door is 18 Piques - great for breakfast and lunch or take-aways for hiking the Fisherman's Trail or hiking Rota Vicentina.

Peaceful, simple, friendly, clean and quiet little place in the heart of charming Via Nova de Millefontes. Well situated for hiking or en route to Algarve. Make sure you book Porto de Barcas for dinner - a real treat. Fetch a picnic at 18 Piques, right next door to Blue Guide, before you set off on your hike along the Rota Vicentina or Fisherman's Route.

The location is great just at the town center - the only problem could be some noise in the evening coming from people outside, but the windows are really good on blocking the noise. The room I got - with private bathroom - was nice with a good bed. The breakfast was good.

Right in the centre of the lovely village. Clean, comfortable, friendly, helpful. Superb breakfast and yummy picnic. A perfect stop-over on The Fisherman’s Trail. Just a minute’s walk from the river ferry.

Modern clean and bright. Great public facilities with kitchen and dining room so you can make yourself at home. Were welcomed with lemonade and cake. Room small but has big double bed and en suite and it was very bright and clean. Ideal location right in centre of town. Breakfast is a must. Served by host. Very refined and classy breakfast. Highly recommend.

Blue Guide is in the historic part of town, close to the river, making it easy to explore on foot. The check-in host and owners are attentive to their guests needs and comfort. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable and, as mentioned in the title, breakfast was wonderful. Would recommend Blue Guide. Just be aware you have to call the manager (number is on the door) and may have a short wait. Since a good cafe is right next door, this is not onerous. Order a coffee or glass of wine, relax and people watch.

In the middle of the town, clean, friendly and a very good service. Good bed and a nice room. The breakfast was amazing! We will recommandate this place. And the neighbour is ‘18 piques’ where you can gave a great lunch for a reasonable price.

The location is perfect: it is in the main square! The B&B is very new , very beautiful, very nice and very clean. The lady is amazingly kind and always helpful. The breakfast is huge and you can try homemade jams and cakes .it is is for sure a place I will always recommend!

Room was gorgeous and spotless. The location is just perfect considering the scheme of the city. Visited in 2017 and it seems owners are newbies at this business simply because no signage, etc. BUT, what a gem of a place, and they have hopefully gained experience because I couldn't even book this year (sold out)!

Beautiful and well kept b&b in Vila Nova de Milfontes with extremely friendly staff! It was such a pleasure arriving in Blue Guide after a day of walking on Fisherman’s trail. I was pampered with fresh chocolate cake and home made lemonade while Paulo was working with my check in. The breakfast is superb with great fresh ingredients. Also if you are walking (or need it otherwise) you can have a packed lunch to take with you, it is extensive and will definitely gets you through the day. Warm recommendations and thanks to Paulo and team!
