This was our 2nd stay here. Last time we had a room on the ground floor in the outside building which was fine but this time we were on the first floor. As this was built into the roof, we kept knocking our heads on the sloped ceilings and getting into the tiny en suite was positively dangerous. The accommodation...

Thank you for your review! We are glad you found the staff friendly and the surroundings enjoyable, with regards to the room we will look into the lack of plug sockets, but due to the age of the building, the beams and size of rooms is something we cant influence. We hope to see you again soon. Antony and the...

We had wanted to go to see Waddesdon Manor again, as it is one of the best National Trust properties in the UK but it is a long journey to Aylesbury from where we live. When I stumbled upon an advertisment in the Daily Mail for a special deal for a hotel in Chalfont St Giles we were overjoyed as...

All the staff members I encountered were extremely warm and friendly and though I found the room decor basic, it was very comfortable and clean with standard items provided. There was the use of free wifi which I thought was very weak in the room but was provided nevertheless. The meal at the restaurant was very well prepared and tasty.

This is a lovely pub with some really nice staff, we will definitely be coming back! The food was good, I had the vegetarian burger which was lovely and my girlfriend had the cheese and smoked bacon burger. The room was nice, clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anybody as I...

I used to stay here a lot a few years ago when the food was exceptional. The rooms were always comfortable with everything functional. I stayed in a room with a WC which didn't flush properly which I reported on my departure. This was extremely disappointing given my previous history with the place and considering I had flown several thousand...

If you expect to have a quiet night, ask for a room on the second floor. Otherwise you will hear any steps above you. If you are a girl take a hair dryer with you. The breakfast was nothing to mantion.

Ate there last night with two friends. The main meal was average, pudding very disappointing - obviously quickly defrosted. Staff were friendly enough, but sadly the whole place lacked any warmth of atmoshere.Quite bland with wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs. Will not be returning.

Stayed here to go to the Harry Potter experience 12 miles up the road. Clean room, really good power shower. Best Wi Fi ever in our room - Wi Fi access is through linking up to the Cloud. The evening meal was extremely good and drinks were reasonably priced - £13.00 for an 8 oz sirloin that was really tender...
