Stayed here in April for three nights and had a great experience. The transfer from Manuas was well coordinated and all legs ran on time. The trip there is cool because you get to see the meeting of the rivers, as well as an hour long boat ride down the Juma river which is comfortable and provides really good scenery....

We stayed 4nights at the Juma lodge with 4 children ranging from 5yrs to 9 and have absolutely no regrets. Our guide Ralph and his cousin, our boat driver, Alex were great with the kids and so skilled in tracking down many species of animals for us to see and hold! The staff at the lodge were all very friendly...

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Juma Lodge. It is a trek to get there--speedboats and vans but worth every minute of the journey. Daniel at the front desk is sweet and always has a smile. Our guide, Gabriel, was fun and tremendously knowledgeable as was our boat driver, Jioberto (spelling?) we loved hiking in the jungle even...

If you are going into the deep Amazon be sure to get a good lodge. Juma filled that role for us. Although we were there in the rainy season we still got a very good flavor of real Amazon life. Of major importance are the accommodations and support staff. Juma gets top marks for this. Although the lodging still gives...

We stayed here for 3 days and we could have used one more night here. Service was great from pick up until drop off. Food was good, buffet style and you eat with your group and tour guide. Our guide was Ralf and he was the best. He was very knowledgeable and professional and really made our stay so much...

Buffet meals x 3 daily were all delicious and freshly prepared No real difference between those rooms on river vs the suite they have available Make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen,...

Such a wonderful place to stay in. Lodges are very basic with riverwater to wash in: so do not wash your teeth unless using fresh water !! Food was very good and interesting to try various things on offer - plenty of gorgeous fruit. Herman was our guide for the three days and was so knowledgeable and great fun to...

Juma Lodge is a magical place. Don't expect the highest luxury. It,s an Ecolodge. Sustainable . Solar powered. When it's cloudy for more than a day the showers are cold. but because of the general high temps this is no problem. Guides are excellent, know everything, speak English and other languages. Tree. Climbing was a great experience thanks to the...

Our family stayed at the lodge for 4 days during the dry season. The lodge itself is beautifully situated on a 'lake' with a viewing platform and hammocks to relax in. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and go a long way in making sure that every need is met. The food is outstanding and they make a great...

The hotel is located around 3 hrs from manaus at the juma river (black water river...less mosquitoes and less animals). The transport until the hotel is great... good timings... friendly staff and great views... i went on the dry season (river is low... more steps to climb before you arrive at reception or your cabin) but the experience was great.......
