Just came back from spending 2 weeks in this paradise. There was actually only one reason we chose this place and it was Manta Rays. We are divers and do not need Water Villas and the whole Maldives cliche. Take note that this island is on the southern tip of Maldives. So after landing in Male you need to fly... More

We stayed at Canareef Resort for 5 nights with our 2 children and it was total paradise!! It is by far one of the most beautiful locations we have ever been to. It’s a very big island to get around and we had the enjoyment of bikes to explore. A little exercise to burn off the all-inclusive!! There is also... More

This was our 8th visit to the Maldives, so you can guess we love the Maldives and the Maldevian people. The Canareef we personally would not return, because it was too big an island and lacking in atmosphere. We unfortunately were there when there was only 20 Europeans my husband and I being the only British and a handful of... More

Great staff and services. Friendliness and the smile never gone from their faces. A great welcoming for the arrival. I-Gie, the GRO, made a detail and quick check-in for us. Showed us all the maps, information and etc so we don't miss any single thing for our stay. Big thanks to her. We like to hang out at the swimming... More

We were there with our children 5 and 9 y.o. in June. This is the biggest hotel territory among all hotels on Maldives: the whole island is 11km and the hotel territory is 4.5km. There are a lot of information about arriving to the island and nothing new can be added, but we arrived very tired. We were there for... More

We were at Canareef resort with our 2 kids in October and It is one of the most stunning locations we have ever been to. The hotels has 3 lovely pools and nice bars and restaurants to compliment that . I particularly enjoyed the Meera bar with its stunning views of the sunset and lovely cocktails . All the villas... Great place to have peace and enjoy the sea life. Great rooms and service. Poor food service and not good value. You pay for snorkling trip and they tell you that equipment are not included so They need to make more value with the price you spend. Overall it was a good experience.

My sunrise villa was large, attractive and comfortable. Who wants a water villa when you can have a private terrace opening onto a private garden opening in turn onto the Indian Ocean and your own stretch of beach? The resort was luxuriantly tropical, with modern facilities nestling unobtrusively in the foliage. The staff could not have been friendlier or more... More

The resort was a fantastic paradise get away and was well worth the 3 flights and speed boat transportation to get there. The resort is essentially the Island, 4.5KM in length and with the width varying from about 20m to 150m; so quite small. That means if you are looking for variety on a daily basis, this paradise island is... More

So lovely place! Villa "Sunrise" was excellent: clean, big, with comfortable bed and good shower-zone. I recommend to choose All-Incl, coz it will be really cheaper. All food was very tasty and different every day. SPA centre with Indonesian (Bali) massage was so-so, costs ~$115/2 hours. There was one shop only in the hotel, and it was much more expensive...
