Most comfortable beds and best service in 6 weeks on the road in Ireland. Great decor with lots of interesting and unusual elements, from books in reception to organic cotton sheets. Maple Valley put lots of thought into the experience of their visitors. Really welcoming and helpful staff, who answered all our asks and made our stay so pleasant. It is a great stopping point on way to Kerry or west Cork if you come into Ireland through Shannon. But also an amazing destination stay in it's own right. Just fab! Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful rooms with lovely en suite bathrooms. Beautifully appointed with luxurious linens and fluffy white towels. Everything is new, a result of an exquistely tasteful renovation. Super comfortable beds and pillows. In the US this would be an elegant boutique hotel but no full time guest reception. Highly recommend this lovely guesthouse - by far the nicest place we've stayed in Ireland so far. Turn down the country lanes and discover this little town that feels like a step back in time. Wander down to the pub and have a pint or watch the horses in the pasture out the back door. Enchanting! And only 30 minutes from Limerick. So glad to have discovered it.

Wonderful accommodation for two nights in July. The small village of Shanagolden is unspoiled by the intrusions of the modern world and makes for a great stop. The hotel is fully up to date, brand new indeed!, and the hostess/owner couldn't have been more kind. Its a few minutes walk from The Old Stand restaurant/pub ( another good spot ) and a very easy drive over to Foynes to enjoy the flying boat museum.

We had an amazing stay at Maple Valley Guesthouse! Everything is completely new and the interior is so beautiful (it is real and no fake photos ;-)). Also the service and the breakfast was really good - fresh and healthy food for a good start in the day! Big thank you to Michele - she is a lovely host! We could recommend this place 100%! Go there and a have a lovely time.

I have visited the Village of Shanagolden many times in the passed but found it an absolute pleasure to be able to stay at Maple Valley Guest House. Michelle and Paul have created a beautiful place with ever aspect having been considered. The rooms are luxurious, along with the service and hospitality. It could only be a 5 star ⭐️ and it is truly exceptional. Thank you Denise and friends. 💕
