The Old School B&B is one of the the best places I've stayed! A lovely home from home experience in a beautiful garden. The room we stayed in had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean - it smelled amazing and I spent some time tracking and noting which reed diffuser was being used! Peter and David are the most incredible hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay special, not least making some adjustments to their normal policy for my daughter due to her CFS/ME. I was especially blown away by having so many choices for breakfast on a vegan menu! Unheard of in most places - and the food was delicious. We have already booked again to come back in September!
Me and my partner were visiting Chichester for a wedding and booked at the B&B after finding them online. We were really blown away by the place. The building is stunning, a converted old school house that maintains its features but with all the updated modern touches. The garden is stunning and you feel so enclosed, that you forget you are close to the town. Our room was beautiful, with gorgeous wooden furniture. I personally was so over the moon at how sparkling clean the bathroom was!! Big plus for me! We were provided a breakfast as part of our package and we have to say this was a stand out meal. The choices were amazing and the meals were fantastic. Everything was fab, but I would suggest the Green Eggs and Ham dish!! Thank you so very much to Peter and David for the incredible hospitality. We felt really well catered for and the place is so flawless. We really hope to come back and stay again!…
A lot of thought has gone into making The Old School House a really relaxing and comfortable place to stay. It is very much Peter and Davids home but at no point did we feel like interlopers there. The Old School House goes well beyond a superbly comfortable bed with sheets as smooth as royal icing, a hot efficient shower (with great products), and a quality breakfast as their attention to detail is just wonderful...summed up for me with a single blue borage flower atop each of our bowls of greek yoghurt. It's edible, from the garden and totally unnecessary but they did it anyway. The wrap around garden by the way is glorious - to either sit out in or sit, tea in hand in the dining conservatory, looking out at. I listened to the birds, gentle music and a tinkling fountain and felt myself start to relax within the first few minutes of arrival. Another five star review...it'd be hard to give fewer.…
What an enjoyable experience! Brilliant hosts who couldn't have made us more welcome. They also went out of their way to make our visit more rewarding by sharing their local knowledge. Eclectic collection of furniture and artefacts in the communal areas. Pretty garden. Peter's attention to detail ensured that our bedroom was incredibly well appointed, clean and comfortable. It also came with a spacious separate bathroom with piping hot water whenever a tap was opened or the shower operated. The breakfasts were incredible! We were on a flying visit from Kenya so only stayed for 2 nights, but couldn't recommend this place more highly.
We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at this incredible B&B close to town, Goodwood aerodrome and the Weald and Downland Museum. The room had a real sense of luxury and the tea, coffee and hot chocolate were all fair trade. No expense was spared in the bathroom with luxury gels, hand washes and Jo Malone room diffuser. Breakfast was exquisite with perfectly poached eggs and home made jams. Our hosts were friendly and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful, immaculate premises to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-end and well located place to stay.
This is the most wonderful B&B. Peter and David are the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable
Stayed for 1 night, the hosts Peter and David were superb! Very helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The fried breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, perfectly cooked and everything piping hot. Cannot find fault with this amazing B&B. Thanks to Peter and David for a lovely night away.
Our stay at Peter and David's B&B was amazing. We were greeted with tea and coffee on arrival which we enjoyed in the garden before spending a night in their king room. The place is decorated beautifully and it was all spotless. The breakfast was great too - we had the vegan full English and the vegan pancakes and ate the lot!! The eco-friendly toiletries was also a touch I appreciated. From booking, to arriving, to staying and leaving, we were treated to a first-class service and made to feel totally at home. Thank you so much Peter and David!!
Superb accommodation in a converted schoolhouse with a beautiful garden with statues and a recently created knot garden . From the moment we arrived, Peter and David made us so welcome and their hospitality continued during our stay. The quality of the linen in the bedroom and bathroom and the toiletries were much appreciated. Breakfast in the conservatory was delightful and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
A very warm welcome on our arrival and the offer of tea or coffee once we had settled was the first indication that we were going to have a lovely stay. Peter and David couldn't have been better hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable with every thing we might need and more. We had a good night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast that set us up for the rest of the day. All in all a fabulous stay, we would definitly choose the old school b&b again without hesitation.
