Posada La Mies doesn't need a great review - it has plenty. But I couldn't resist adding our comments as we so thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The hosts are delightful - incredibly warm and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The room and common areas were well-appointed and comfortable (we had a balcony!) and the breakfast was superb - excellent...

Jose and Iratxe are the kindest and loveliest hosts one can ever find. They will make you feel at home and give you the most delicious breakfast you could ever try. Really hope to come back one day to feel their kind hospitality once again.

Not only Noja is a fantastic place to explore, not only we were given lots of tips to explore, not only the breakfast is freshly made at home, not only the rooms are lovely, but we loved seating with Iratxe and Jose in the living room with our children and being completely at home and relax! Best place ever! Fully...

delightful, cosy place situated right in the middle of this coastal town with superb beaches, but away from busy main square. it's run by very friendly people, always ready to help and with a smile. I highly recommend this place for a few days either to relax or to sleep over on the the Camino.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Posada La Mies, in Noja, Cantabria. As a solo traveller, this hotel was perfect, as the hosts are so welcoming and helpful. My first evening I was invited to sit and have a chat in front of their wood burner fire. My room was excellent, my own balcony, strong wifi, very...

Really really really friendly hosts who make you feel straight at home straight away. Actually, I don't feel that well at home compared to this place. Rooms were great too - good bed, very clean etc. Delicious and generous breakfast. Would highly recommend here.

We were traveling early in the season and no Albergues or hostels were open. We were recommended this delightful place and we decided to stay 2 nights. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a great seafood restaurant (Bristol) and found us a guide to take us birdwatching. We enjoyed our best breakfast yet in Spain. What a...

While cycling off and on the Camino de Santiago, staying in posadas or two star hotels, the setting sun found us one evening in the beach town of Noja near Santander. In mid-April very few places are open in Noja, including hotels. We chanced upon the owner of Posada La Mies, and stayed at her posada. My two cycling friends...
