Extremely disappointed with our trip to the two Brewers today. We were approached by the landlord in the car park demanding why we were here.. I explained we were here to eat. Once inside the landlord appeared again at our table and was as equally rude, he wouldn't listen as to why I felt he had addressed us rudely and...

Some friends and i went to this pub today for lunch.. We go here quite often and have done for years. The food is always brilliant and the bar staff and waitresses are very polite and professional. But on a few occasions the owner has been very rude and abrupt. He kept interrupting our lunch with what we thought was...

Went here with elderly mother and friend. The pub is old school and the menu looks exactly as it did about 15 years ago. Not that there is anything wrong with that as the pub serves traditional pub grub and does do a few 'specials' on the board. We had baked potatoes which were very nice indeed and a lovely...

We live locally and have visited The Two Brewers several times a month for years both with each other and with friends. Last Friday we ordered the food and seeing as they got the previous order wrong I listened to my husband ordering my Tuna jacket potato and heard the order was clear. However they got it wrong again and...

Always a stable choice for dinner out. Know what your going to get, menu has been the same for years with specials that change weekly. Never too long to wait for your food and a good choice of beer on tap. Qwerky surroundings with old cigarette cards on the walls lots of random plates jugs (not the bouncy kind) and...

Thus is a pub with rooms rather than a hotel and restaurant. Haven'tpersonally stayed there but eaten there often. Bit hidden away but worth seeking out. Novel way of presenting menu. Food is fairly basic but freshly prepared (which means there may be a bit of a wait) and there are always a few specials. Staff are cheerful and efficient....

The food took ages to come out. I ordered the Gannon, I do not know how they managed to get it that thin!! But being very thin it would have only taken about a minute on either side to cook it. My seemed as though it had Bern cooked on high temperature fer 30 minutes either side. Tough?? I had...

This is an excellent choice for families as: There are no Bandit machines or distracting loud music. Waiting staff are very friendly. They did not have a TV, showing news or sports. This is great because I do not go to this sort of establishments as I have TV at home. If it is sport being shown then, I am...

Nice friendly pub tucked away from the busy main area of Street and only a short walk. Good pub grub at reasonable prices. Clean and tidy, family friendly with parking and garden. Well worth a visit for a good, reasonably priced meal.
