I would not recommend staying here. We booked a room for 7 nights via hotel.com. The photo and confirmation we received from Hotel.com displayed a lovely Seaview spacious, light filled room with modern fittings and balcony. When we checked in we were told we were in a 'standard room' with no balcony. We showed the owner/manager our confirmation. She replied... More

We are very sorry you did not understand the true help and hospitality we have provided to you upon your arrival but also during your stay with us. Upon your arrival, we made it clear to you that your reservation which was proven by confirmation e-mail from hotels.com, was for an economy room with a window and not a room... More

Cost €50 for room, no breakfast. Reception staff nice. Our room was a twin beds. Small balcony but view just over roof tops as room on side of hotel in effect. Small bathroom. Clean. Quiet room. All the usual amenities for a typical tourist hotel including toiletries and a hairdryer. Bathroom was fairly compact but functional. Didn't have vehicle as... More

We travel for business and leisure around the world regularly and stay at 4+ hotels. We took our chances with a face value of Two-star hotel when reading the reviews And not fully happy with other 4 star hotel reviews. Location is perfect right on the sea front and next to the center of the town. We used it as... More

Stayed here for a week and found the staff very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Requested a room with a view of the harbour and got a great single overlooking the main boulevard with a small balcony that had table and chairs. Every night, when the weather cooled down, I would sit out with a beer or glass of wine, watching... More

Stopped for a big beer several times and loved it .. Great cold Mythos.. Lovely staff and very comfortable.. Also had a coffee and cup cake one morning and noticed the actual hotel guests seemed to have a fabulous buffet of cakes and waffles for their breakfast xx

The hotel is in a good location close to the main square, shopping precinct and boat tours. Good clean accommodation with a view of the sea from the front rooms. Good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Great town with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.

I arrived at The Tourist Hotel as a solo Traveller and spent 3 nights here. I had a single room with a sea view and balcony and for me it was perfect. The Hotel was extremely clean and well cared for and I had everything I needed... Beautiful view, safe and fridge in the room and wifi. The bathroom was... More

Hotel is located in the center of Argostoli and has a great sea view. The staff is very friendly. There is a cafe in front of the hotel and it is nice to sit and look at the people. Breakfast is very good, you may find everything and they are delicious. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

We were in Argostoli to see the amazing turtles this morning. It was so hot that we stopped at the first place we saw which was the cafe of this hotel. There were comfy chairs and tables and a fan blowing cool air. My husband had an English breakfast, I had an omelette and my daughter had waffles. Food was... More

Spent one night only, waiting for a flight to Paris. Everyone was helpful, the room was clean and quite spacious and the location is super. I would def come back. Bathrobes and slippers a little extra comfy and breakfast ok, especially if you like sweet stuff.Fresh homemade lemonade with mint, lovely.
