We had one night in Star Inn Rooms and wished we had more. This is first class accommodation . The room was so comfortable, very spacious and spotlessly clean . Everything was very tastefully done. The breakfast was freshly cooked to a very high standard , with a good choice. The staff was very friendly.
A great stop for a couple of nights, close proximity for travel to Inverness or to the east towards Elgin and beyond. Great attention to detail, cleanliness, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff and a fun, local, lively pub. The restaurant was quite nice with a lot of satisfying choices and the hot fudge brownie sundae was without a doubt the best I have ever had!
Fantastic stay, rooms are decorated and maintained to a very high standard, the staff were very welcoming and friendly we ate in the restaurant at night and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have had cooked to perfection we will definitely be returning
We booked this location due to it's convenient proximity to Inverness Airport. When we arrived late evening after a long day of driving, Louise and the staff made every effort to make us comfortable. The room was clean, well-appointed, and just across the road from the Inn, which provided us with drinks and a delicious meal (the Steak Pie was awesome!). When we informed that we'd be leaving before breakfast, Louise offered to make us to-go bags with a water, scone, yogurt, etc. for the morning! It's the little things that make an impression, and though we rarely write reviews, we were inspired! Wish we had a couple more days, as we would have loved to sit and have a dram at the bar with the friendly locals! Also, we spent a lot more for a lot less in other locations, and felt…
Really welcoming little boutique hotel with beautifully decorated modern rooms. Mini fridge, robes and underfloor heating in the bathroom a nice touch. Super comfortable beds. Free wifi throughout and a massive TV in the bedroom. Cute local Scottish pub part of the hotel and literally a stones throw from the quiet water front where there's walk way up to Fort George and about a 20 minuet costal drive to Inverness. Would definitely recommend a stay.
