Wow what can I say. This place is amazing. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are very luxurious and spotless. Decor is very plush and the bed was so comfy. Fridge and fan in the room too very handy. Can’t fault the housekeeping staff here. The breakfast was amazing served by lovely friendly staff. Will be back. On returning from our wedding we found a bottle of bubbly and glasses in our room. Really nice touch.
We booked in for 1 night and ended up staying 3! The room was FABULOUS had everything we needed and more comfy bed fantastic shower and bath and lots of litter extras. We ate here on both nights as the food was brilliant. Breakfast was huge and just what is needed to start your day. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome good old Highland hospitality at its finest and thats something that you can't train people in,it just comes naturally! Will definitely be back again can't recommend this place enough best we have stayed in for a long time! And loved every minute of it. See you all soon
Stayed here for the first night of our short break in the Highlands and it set up to be a great break. A little gem of a place set in the village of Ardersier, ideal for exploring both sides of the Moray Firth and further a field. The staff made us most welcome on arrival and escorted us to our room , the room was ideal with en-suite and a nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The tea and coffee making facilities are essential after a walk to Fort George and back looking at all the wildlife, flowers and fauna along the paths especially looking for the dolphins in the Moray Firth. The food in the The Starr Inn was brilliant, the venison burger topped with black pudding was one of the best I have ever tasted served with large cut chips. The menu catered for everyone and along with the breakfast which was just as good and choices were excellent. We will definitely be returning with our friends to let them sample a great weekend in this little gem of a place very soon. A great stay although short, the staff were excellent in places to visit in the area.…
Great little Hotel in Ardersier on the Moray Firth. Staff were great food is good pub grub and plenty of it, (steak Pie, fish and chips, Scampi, burger, etc.) Rooms are not huge but plenty big enough. Our room had a decent bathroom with an excellent shower.) Parking provided and the breakfast was cooked to order. Close to Fort George and Culloden battlefield with Inverness a few miles down the road. to top if off its great value!
