Spent a night here. Also stayed here in 2008. The change was noticeable. I think the property was sold, in order tp construct high rise condos, but something must have fell through. It is quite sad. The views are great, but the place is a bit downtrodden. Seems like it is an afterthought, and not an ongoing concern. Sad, such... More

A wonderful full equipped cabin, great for families, and excellent barbecue area. It has one room with air conditioner, the beds are quite well. It has a also a good hammock for you to lay down. All the area is really gorgeous.

This is a lovely, old Panamanian setting with cabinas from street level down to the beach. The landscaping represents old Panama and every cabina has a hammock & barbecue with outdoor seating. This is perfect for families with children! This is located a 1.5 hour drive from Panama City. The cabinas were clean and simple. It took 2 days to... More

Las Sirenas is just lovely! You have two (great) choices when you stay there. The Bluff-top Cottages have a wonderful outdoor sitting and BBQ area and they look out over flowering gardens to views of the Pacific below. The Beachside units are exactly that -- you walk right out side your door onto a pristine white beach that goes as... More

The setting is so wonderful that the fact the units are showing their age becomes secondary. I love being so close to the beach - you can watch the pelicans diving for fish from the patio. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. This was our 4th stay and I'm really sorry it's been sold and other properties on the... More

OKAY I agree with reviews, it is pricey. However, it is so perfect. We were going to the Decameron DUH! us and 5000 other people lobby 1, 2 or 3 . So off to hunt a place, we happened on a sign and followed a very local road to heaven. As I am writing this using the WIFI I can... More

Sweet appartments, extremely close to the calm nice beach. The little cabins are spacious (can sleep up to four in the beachfront ones). Equipment is basic (gas stove, pots and cuttlery, etc...) but do the job. Bathroom a bit small. Cool terrace with Hamoc and Parasol for beach. Beach at 30m.... no one there, but it gets HOT. No real... More

We were hesitant to book a villa at las Sirenas due to some very negative critics we found on this site, but as we wanted to find a relaxing spot on the Pacific Coast of Panama, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived at las Sirenas, we were delighted to discover the setting of these beautiful villas... More

We stayed for 3 days, 4 of us, in one of the hilltop cabins. The cabin was very attractive, and there were flowers and blossoms on bushes and trees all around. We were on a birdwatching holiday, and were pleased to see red legged honeycreepers and orange-headed orioles in the pink flowering trees. Our hammock on our porch was super... More

We have stayed in similar cottages/hotels in Akumal, Mexico, Sedona, Arizona, Arenal Costa Rica, Playa Dulce, Guatemala, and this cottage was the most disgusting place we have stayed in a long time. Literally could not wait to leave. The first night there were no sheets for the kids' beds, there is no ac for the main room (or any sofa... More
