I travel quite a bit, between work and personal trips, I probably stay in 10 to 12 hotels a year. The stay at this Hampton Inn & suites was one of the most pleasurable I've ever had. The staff was over the top amazing and very friendly. When I arrived very late at night after everything had closed I got a frozen meal from their small store and they provided me with paper plates, fork, knife, napkins, cups, and everything else that I could possibly need but likely wouldn't have because I was traveling. Every time I was leaving or came back they remembered my name and greeted me with a friendly face. This isn't something you get often, but I really felt like I was staying in someone's home rather than a corporate hotel because the staff was so amazing. On top of that, the rooms were immaculately cared for and very comfortable. I had a king suite on a corner with windows all around, and the microwave and small fridge were a nice added convenience. Just an amazing hotel all around. If you're considering this hotel because you are attending a conference at the Gaylord across the street, don't hesitate. You won't regret it.…
Front desk staff are professional and check-in is very fast. The Front Office Supervisor Lauren was so professional and accommodating before I arrived. The beds are very soft big size Queen beds (fit 2 people) and the shower was powerful and made even the kids not want to come out. We got a 2 bed Queen suite and King Room. Both rooms came with a fridge and microwave for anyone that like those amenities like myself. I would recommend spending Extra for the suite because of the larger fridge, kitchenette area and coffee maker. Parking is one fee for in and out access each day, I would get that option from the hotel because there is no street parking and cost you more each time. Location is PERFECT. It's right across the street from Gaylord Convention Center, down the street from National Harbor strip of restaurants and attraction, it can't be any closer. The area is perfect for foodies because there are so many restaurant options within a block and stretches a mile or more. We walked 4 blocks to the Capitol Wheel and Waterfront St. Which is VERY busy and the action is. MGM is only 8 mins drive and Free Parking option. I would come back for the staff, location, Free Hot Breakfast and parking.…
The location was great. The hotel was across the street from the Gaylord at National Harbor. It was about 3-5 minutes to the harbor. The parking was very close. The hotel was clean and updated. The staff was very polite. The room was very spacious. The room was very clean. The pool was a little small but good enough for my family and I. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. They had almost every option you could think. Eggs, sausage, and potatoes as well. The building was safe and secure. I highly recommend staying here for the location and the price.
Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. All of our interactions with the staff were extremely pleasant. We want to say a special "Thank You' to Mary for the excellent and impressive service she provided during our stay. She introduced herself as we walked from the parking garage to the hotel and said she was scheduled to work at the front desk soon. Later in the day, we told her that we wanted to eat breakfast outside of the hotel and asked for a restaurant recommendation. Not only did she remember our names from earlier, she called a place she had in mind, and asked us if we wanted her to make a reservation. We did; and her recommendation was a good one. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning in the future!…
Recent trip for a convention hosted at the National Harbor Gaylord convention center. The location was really fantastic, across the street, and among many restaurants. Right on the Harbor, and cherry blossoms in bloom! The hotel itself was fine, but the rate was up about $200 a night because of the convention, and I thought overall service was not what I would have expected at the price point. During non convention, this might be a high value choice.
I had such a great time staying here, the breakfast is absolutely fantastic, especially those honey maple sausage links and hot scrambled eggs. They also offer cheese on side if you like, And I certainly do : ) They also had excellent muffins and biscuits, as well as several assorted cereals. The staff is super friendly and helpful. But what made this hotel really great is the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, Especially Mary and Kenya at the front desk. You can tell that they are happy to be, There is just such a positive vibe there. And they made for a wonderful stay. Super convenient, and right across the street from the Gaylord Convention Center. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone attending nearby events as they have all of the amenities you could possibly want. Heated pool, Great breakfast and a great friendly staff. And at less than half the price of the Gaylord, its an absolute no brainer. : )…
Overall my stay was good! Easy access to restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was nothing to write home about and the WiFi needs to be much better! The staff and housekeeping staff were friendly. I would stay at this location again.
My first stay at this hotel and my family love it. Will come back to stay again. Nice hot breakfast and comfortable room, clean room with necessary amenities, comfortable beds, Good wifi and good TV program choices.
I stayed at the Hampton Inn at National Harbor while attending the National Drug Court Conference this past July. The Hampton is across the street from the Gaylord where the conference was being held. My room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and masks were required except while eating or drinking. My stay was a good experience at the Hampton.
Everything and everyone was perfect. The room was clean and the breakfast was laid out nicely. The food was hot and there was a variety to choose from for both of us. There were great sites to see in the surrounding area. Great restaurants within walking distance as well. Thank you
