Dette er et stort og mektig overnattingssted med et sjarmerende vertskap. Hovedhuset er fra 1840. Det er godt ivaretatt. Vertskapet er svært gjestfri og byr blant annet på herskapelig frokost for overnattingsgjester. Huset ligger idyllisk til ved Irlands nest største elv.
Vi bodde i gjestehuset ved det gamle tårnet som er over 800 år gammelt, bygd i 1212. Gjestehuset er koselig innredet, nesten som en hytte med store rom og gode baderom med moderne dusj, sauna og boblebad.
Hvis du ønsker en spesiell opplevelse og herskapelig stil til en helt grei pris, er dette et veldig godt og spennende sted. Verten Thomas har mye kunnskap om stedet og er en god formidler. Vi hadde ei super og koselig natt på Rocketts Castle.

Fabulous estate, the staff were more than welcoming. The young lad working there was very helpful. Amazing to walk around the grounds. The castle itself it's marvelous, especially for a history buff like myself.

Rocketts Castle is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking places i have ever visited. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are very polite. I found this place on air bnb and would definitely stay again!
