My wife and I stayed at Ashleigh House situated just outside of Waterford whilst returning home from a church conference. This Bed and Breakfast is ideally located outside of Waterford and a short drive from Dunmore East with lovely beaches and tourist facilities. The room was lovely and nice bathroom with a lovely cooked breakfast and again my dietary needs health wise were catered for alongside my wife's. The lady proprietor is an award winning cook and her breakfast with fresh made breads was lovely. If travelling to Waterford or visiting local tourist attractions then I recommend Ashleigh house for its position and as a place to stay whilst visiting the area. We stayed here in May 2018 and returned in May 2022. Rooms were spacious and they had a room where we could plan our next day's route. We had a chance to talk to TJ and Phyllis and enjoyed catching up with them again. Location is convenient for both Waterford and other attractions outside of town. Breakfast was very good, with a good variety including the traditional offerings, pancakes, french toast, porridge, fresh fruit and Phyllis' excellent brown bread. We enjoyed talking to Niall, another guest at breakfast. Tea supplies were also in our rooms and was a treat in the evening. We enjoyed our stay here just as much the second time and hope to visit again in the future.

My daughter and I recently stayed on this property and recommend it highly. The room was comfortable and immaculate, and the breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again should we return to the area.

This was a solid B&B stop on our family tour of Ireland. The family en-suite was a little small for a family of four with two teenagers. Breakfast was very good and the hosts were gracious. There was a nice restaurant across the road that we stopped at for dinner.

TJ and his wife run a wonderful B&B. Gracious and warm hosts for rooms in their quiet and comfortable home. From the first moment you meet them you feel like you are truly welcome in their house. There is no stuffiness or business attitude towards the guests at all. In fact, this was the only B&B at which we stayed that introduced us to the family dogs and cats in their welcome booklet. Even taking their dog for a walk is encouraged for those pet lovers among us. We had a very nice room with bath, with a sunny view of the house garden. The breakfast was delicious and was accompanied by the friendly company of the Owners as well as some of the other travelers staying here. The Ashleigh House is located on the Southwest limits to the city and it takes about a half hour to travel down to the city center. Plenty of free parking is available on the property which is located on a fairly busy main road, but gets quiet towards evening and there is no road noise transmitted to the rooms to speak of at all. Wonderful place to stay.…

The property was just minutes from Waterford City. The room was comfortable with the basic amenities. The Holy Cross Bar across the street had great food and huge serving sizes. We also took a short drive to Tramore beach only minutes from the B&B to see the ocean. You will enjoy a great nights rest and a delicious cooked to order breakfast served in a beautiful dining room.

This Bed and Breakfast was very nice and the owners were kind. They even let me pet their dog who was also very sweet. The food was excellent. I was only there for one night but it was a nice experience.

You’ll love the brown bread, TJ and phylis’s warm hospitality and their dedication to making you feel like family. I highly recommend this location just outside of Waterford, and a pub within walking distance. Breakfast is quite nice for such a small place, more like what you’d get at a bigger hotel. All delicious choices, beautifully prepared. If I am ever able to return to Ireland, I’ll come back here. Oh, and they have at least one guest room that’s perfect for a couple with two children, with a private bath.

We were shown our room by TJ who is a warm and friendly man. Our room (6) was very well decorated with a roomy modern ensuite and a view over the back garden where we caught glimpses of the dogs but unfortunately not the cats! Phyllis is a nice lady checking that you are happy with everything. The breakfast was very good, the porridge is a must. Glad we stayed.

Thank you very much for great hospitality! We felt like in a hotel - tasteful decorated rooms, really good breakfast (award-winning brown bread!), near to the town. Easy parking in front of the house. We felt very well!
