I say once found because our GPS didn't really like getting here. Should you have the same trouble, might I suggest you aim for The Holy Cross pub. It's easy to find (and you can get a good meal there) and the B&B is only about a kilometre away. The normal host here is Des, but sadly he was looking...

Home away from home. We arrived at The Coach House and was friendly greeted by Des. He was such a lovely friendly guy. We had five of us staying for one night. The rooms were clean and spacious with beautiful views of the country side and the old caste ruin. The breakfast in the morning for £10.5 was fantastic value....

When you first drive in you see the ruins of the Butlerstown castle right next to the Coach house. The common room was very comfortable and the host brought us a pot of tea which was very nice considering the damp weather at the time. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was large and we had a view of the...

Des, the very kind land lord has changed an old coach house in a lovely small hotel. The castle ruins in the garden are amazing. The rooms are beautiful. The bed was a bit too hard for us and the water pressure in the shower a bit too low. We had a full Irish breakfast, lovely to try for one...

A big thank you to Des for making our stay a great one. The care and attention they have put in to the country house accommodation is inspiring. The accommodations were spot on and we walked away from breakfast not needing to ever eat again! A not to miss when coming to Ireland!

Beautiful place, nicely done up, in that old time frilly lace and leather way, but be warned, the owner does not take kindly to ANY suggestions to make it that much better, no matter how small they are. I traveled alone, showed up one evening, was met at the door, shown my room, had a brief chat about the history...

I searched long and hard to find something a little special for our stay in the Waterford area, and The Coach House fit the bill and more! The setting is just stunning...on a little road running up from the main road between Kilmeaden and Waterford...with beautiful stone ruins on the grounds. The house itself is gorgeous with a lovely stone...

We stayed at the Coach House for 3 nights in August. The house and grounds were beautiful and tastefully furnished. To think it was once just a vacant derelict building is so hard to believe. The period furniture , pictures etc added to the enjoyment of our stay in this lovely house. The gardens around the house were also beautifully...
