Just back from another all to brief stay at Hanoras. The food is exceptional, assorted homemade breads, scones & cakes, the widest selection at breakfast including Mary's porridge, hot fruits, smoked salmon, cheeses, fresh tropical & Irish fruits, all this before a full Irish fry !! You probably won't need anything else to eat until your evening meal, if you choose to eat in you will not be disappointed, Eoin is the chef and oh my is the food good !! Hanoras cottage is the family home and you are made to feel so welcome, cosy sitting rooms & luxurious lounges and every comfort needed. Outside you can sit on the deck next to the Nire river. Set in such beautiful, peaceful countryside. We couldn't ask for more. Mary, Eoin, Judith and the team are so welcoming, We are already

Mary warmly welcomed us in this idyllic place. We had a lovely decorated, big and bright room with a hugh bath tube. Hanora's cottage is great to relax, enjoy the wonderful landscape of Nire Valley and the fantastic hospitallity. In short, Hanora's cottage is a feel-good oasis. We did a very nice walk not far away with splendid views over the valley. Afterwards we had an excellent dinner at Hanora's cottage. Moreover breakfast was very delicious. There was a big selection of warm and cold offerings. We specially mention the amazing bread they have and the freshly squeezed orange juce, which is rare in Ireland. We highly recommend this location.

My wife and I recently enjoyed an all too brief two night stay in this lovely property in a hidden and beautiful part of County Waterford. The welcome was so warm, the room so comfortable and the food so appetising and well presented, we just can't wait to return. Take a bow Mary for getting hospitality so right!! You and your family and the wider team epitomise the word!! Well Done!

Everything was excellent, the welcome, the accommodation, the service, the location, the scenery and the walks, and especially the food. Cannot find fault, would give it 10 stars if I could. Would love to go back there.
