Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ann and Michael were great hosts. We arrived and first thing was offered to us was a pot of tea and coffee. The room was spotless, the breakfast (full Irish) was spot on. room overlooked the pasture across the road and enjoyed seeing the cows mingle about the field. Was raining so didn't get a good chance to do much walking but there are some awesome cliffs around.

This was a fantastic stop for us. We were in the area to research our Irish roots and found this place. It's simple accommodations to be sure, but there's an elegance and cleanliness to this place that made it a wonderful 3 night stay for us hosted wonderfully by Ann and Michael. The bathrooms and hallways are spotless and everything worked fantastic (including WI-Fi access). Ann is simply an amazing breakfast cook and one of the sweetest souls you'll meet. Michael took a lot of time helping me search for my ancestors and put me in touch with a local born and raised in Bonmahon (Jim) same place as my grandfather. We took a three hour stroll (highly recommend the coffee shop in the old church at the UNESCO heritage site!) and he told me of the history of the area. If you have time, take stroll with him. Bottom line, if you want to visit this area, you can't go wrong staying here! If we come back, we'll be looking to come here.

Great value. Beautiful surroundings. Large comfy rooms. Excellent service with a very personal touch. Tasty and generous breakfast. Spotless clean. Can’t go wrong for the price. We showed up on their doorstep without a booking as I was too tired to continue driving. Anne and Michael accommodated us on the spot and really were very lovely. It reminded me of our trips to Ireland 2 decades ago - the “céad míle fáilte” (100 thousand welcomes) B&B vibe that seems to have been lost since the recession, lives on here at Copper Coast. Thanks!

Very pleasant one night stay. Very clean. Excellent breakfast and kind and friendly hosts. Walked down to the beach and a drink at the pub to round off our day touring around the area. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Michael and Ann are the wonderful hosts. The B&B is so well laid out, it was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was a real treat - cooked to perfection. Perfectly located near to many coves on the spectacular Copper Coast. Highly recommended. Jimmy

The hosts go out of their way to make you feel safe and welcome. The place was absolutely spotless which we greatly appreciated given the times that is in it. Breakfast hit the spot and we will definitely return for the great hospitality and their commitment to the Bord Failte Covid Safety Charter. Not a speck of dust and hand sanitisers on the hall everywhere. Great job.

I stayed one night at the Copper Coast B&B. The hosts were lovely, the room and bathroom were both really spacious (e.g. the shower could easily have fit more than one person), clean and comfortable; and the breakfast was excellent. Having a single tap (as opposed to separate hot and cold water) in Ireland is pure luxury. Heating was not on all the time so it can get quite chilly, although the bed had an electric blanket which helps.. Location is a little scary to get to if you're driving in the dark.

Our rear property corner room overlooked a nearby pasture with dairy cows who were our daily visitors. Didn't mind at all, because they were quietly eating, and would come over for a close up visit if you saddled up to the fence. They were a perfect foreground to the green pasture, blue water, and blue sky in the background. Ann and Michael are stupendous hosts, with friendly help and guide to nearby attractions. The quaint eating space served delicous traditional Irish breakfast and the table was decorated with lovley blue hewn country china, and elegance that matched their hosts. There is nearby private beach among the cliffs. They can advise on directions which is less than 2 minutes, just be aware it is a tight single lane drive past some homes. There is enough space for turnaround, and a railing assisted walkway down to the beach and sea.

Although a little off the beaten track, using the Eircode brought us to the door after a long days journey. How welcoming were Ann, Michael and Mairead.. Great advice as to where to visit (up the road is Ballydowane Beach-the best ever, with sun shining. Check out the Angel of Fenor-Beautiful)... Great Irish breakfast. Room clean and shower spacious. There is a self-catering cottage next door, also run by Michael and Ann. Thank you Both (and Mairead!) for a great experience! ENJOY!
