I've visited Rivne as part of my holidays in Ukraine. I can say, that for such a small and not rich city at all, it's a good place to stay if you just need a room for few nights. AC and hot water - all works perfectly! :) Maybe only advise for the staff would be is to add an... More

We were a group of family members planning to stay 2 nights at the hotel but decided to checkout and move to another hotel after one night. We were offered to "upgrade" the double bed rooms to the "superior" room , since the addition was small we took the offer. When got in the room we saw a ventilator in... More

The Mir is located on one of the two main squares in the center of Rivne. It's an old Soviet-style hotel that has been totally re-done, & done well. Immaculately clean, with a helpful staff, the location is unbeatable for this city. It has a good restaurant, but the breakfast buffet isn't as good as most in this area, which... More

Very good three star hotel, probably the best one in Rivne city. Rooms are spacious (I was in a junior suite) and also very clean, with the biggest windows I've ever seen. Luckily, my room had a great view of the main roads and a park. Hotel Mir provides high speed free Wi-Fi for each floor so the signal is... More

This is a first-rate hotel, with an excellent breakfast to boot. The rooms are spacious and the linens are fine. The Hotel Mir is close to the center and is a short bus ride from both the central railway station and the main bus station. I found it a comfortable place to break my trip from Lutsk to Poltava and... More

I am now in a MIR hotel room and while it is only 23 C outside, because the sun hits my windows (front of the building) in the afternoon, the room feels like sauna. In such situation what do you do? Turn on the AC. Well, there is no AC in this hotel and other than leaving for another hotel,... More

Firstly let me start by saying I had a mixed experience staying in this hotel. I received excellent service from 1 receptionist who was young, helpful and spoke good English. She went out of her way to organise a trip to "Tunnel of Love" in Klevan for me and a friend and even wrote the taxi driver a note in... More

There is a feeling of a Soviet period publicly owned hotel. They don't seem to have a computerized reservation system. Fortunately they have plenty of rooms and not too many customers. The service was good. The room was simple, no international TV channels, but it was clean. I was very pleased with the dinners at the hotel restaurant, but breakfast... More

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past 15 years, but never really enjoyed it until my most recent visit in October 2013. The hotel has undergone a significant renovation; rooms are cleaner (the televisions still don't work well), the bathrooms are up-to-date and the overall experience was pleasant. The breakfast selection was moderate but the quality was... More

I may assume that it's an old soviet hotel, effectively converted into a almost-european-class facility. Service is nice and polite, rooms are clean, breakfast is handsome (included). The adjacent restaurant (dinner) is relatively expensive but food and service are good for the money. From the top floor you can see the whole city. Location is convenient. What may surprise the...
