This is a newly built guesthouse in a beautiful natural setting on the banks of the Navesti River. It has two saunas: one with a wood-burning stove in its arched-ceiling basement, from which you can emerge up a set of limestone stairs and dash the 10 or so metres to dive into the Navesti River; and the other a Finnish sauna with electric stove, situated within the main building. The area provides plenty of opportunity for you to take an active break, enjoy the natural surroundings, go fishing, go bird- and animal-watching (beavers nest on the opposite bank of the river!) and capture it all on camera! You can also watch nature films, take a canoe out or go bike-riding!

It is a really well located guesthouse, in the village of Jõesuu if your aim is to visit Soomaa national park. Rooms are clean and one can sleep as a baby. Hostess Anna cooks very deliciou meals. Ask omlett for a breakfast!

Unbelievable attitude! Came with a little child. Found out the house doesn't offer dinner (if there's not enough customers) and they don't allow to bring your own food! Even grapes were not accepted - will ruin the house!? And there's no advance notice about the weird policy! Sorry, no more!

Anna and Viktor are a lovely middleaged couple who took the plunge and are Living The Dream - they left the city and built a dream house in the countryside, with gardens and sauna and river and rooms and food to share. All these things are lovely and so are they. I was concerned about getting here from Parnu, and to (relatively nearby, but not walking distance) Soomaa national park, without private transport/car, but it's quite doable, thanks to their helpfulness: Anna gave me bus times from Parnu, and a lift to the park to do a looped walk (I hitched a lift back). They also work closely with Wilderness Experiences, who organise tours - including night time canoe safaris - in the national park. The food was fantastic, good honest home cooking, much of it from the lovingly tended garden. Swimming in the river just below the house was a big plus too. Really very pleasant, and very restful. Highly recommended!

It was a great mini holiday we had there and a great escape from the city, just what we wanted. The hosts were very friendly and nice and also very knowledgeable as they managed to answer all our questions (we had quite many of them) as it was our first time in that area of Estonia. We also ordered dinner from there and it was just great! Food was fresh and there was so much of it! Same was with the breakfast. Very delicious. Rooms were very clean and very nice, we stayed in a room with a balcony, which was great. The river is just there and it was a good one for canoeing and swimming. It felt like visiting good family friends. Definitely will go back there!
