Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel was a bit out dated - both by the interior and by the atmosphere (sleepy). Somehow I felt that I had gone some thirty years back in time - and the feeling was reinforced during the breakfast (which was disappointing by the modern standards).

Then again I can not actually complain: I slept well enough, the room was clean enough and they had a good parking space.

The hotel is small and the main building is a little bit oldfashioned. I lived in a separarte building which was more updated. The breakfast was average, while The dinner (pepperbeaf) was excellent. No roomcleaning over two days, which is a little bit strange.

I have been here many times and have seen many rooms. Rooms are very basic Finish hotel rooms, clean but not cozy. Some of the rooms have been repaired and are more comfortable than others. In other side of street rooms are better. Rooms in main building vary a lot. Most awful room was with the door that was making noice hole night... I would say that customer service is practical but not friendly. I would recommend this hotel just if it's necessary to stay in Raahe.

Raahe is a small city so hotels in this city are not supposed to bevery posh...this one is the best among all yet very basic and average according to someone who has experience of staying in different hotels...The hotel room has comfortable bed for comfortable sleeping...shower is very small and there was no shampoo...in room refrigerator was totally empty which was funny and not a good sign of service...Hotel has a restaurent as usual but the food is ok only for very hungry or starving travellers...wine list was not ver good as well...Breakfast was very basic again and nothing special...they allow pets in the hotel room which is positive for pet owners...ovarall its a basic hotel for passing by travellers to stay the night for a comfortable sleep...shouldnt fancy anything more...

Hotel is in the ''centre'' of the Raahe City. It is placed in small shoping centre building.
Room I had was realy big. Little bit old fashioned in my opinion. Bathrom was equipe with broken shower ( lack of one door) however there was a sauna.

Rooms are quite quiet and this is big advantage.

Brakfest is just fine. Quite nice.

Was back in Raahe after many years and booked a room from Raahen Hovi. Got room from the new part of the hotel. Room was very tidy and neat. Not very big, though. But plenty of room for one man. Only downside was that room was not in same building as reception and restaurant (and the older rooms) so got wet in heavy downpour when going to breakfast. Breakfast itself was great with touch of ,what I think was the German heritage of the owner/manager

All and all, next time I need to stay night in Raahe this will be the hotel I'll call first.

Neat hotel in the center of Raahe. Shops and restaurants near by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but there should be more for example gluten free options. Hotel's a la carte was very good!

The location is brilliantn in the center of Raahe. Shops nearby. Well, Raahe is a all town so nothing is far away.
The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and ok. To the minisuite belongs an own sauna. No minibar but a fridge in the room and electric kettle, so if you stay longer and don't want to eat in a restaurant every day, you can easily eat in your room. In this case bring your own cutlery. The TV is in most of the rooms attached to the wall, so it is very difficult to connect a HDMI cable on the backside of it.
The breakfast is ok but bacon is missing and scrambled eggs are a flabby pap.
The price quality rate is with 119€ for a single room and 140€ for a room with own sauna too expensive. It is on Scandic or Sokos level.
The rooms are located in two different buildings. The other building is on the other side of the road, about 50m away from the main building.

Our room in 2dn floor was very basic. It almost seemed like dormitory that was emptied for summer :D Our room was clean, beds were okeyish but everything seemed almost too basic and almost odd.

Hotel is located dead on downtown and it has on of few regural restaurants that served dinner for family on sunday night. Breakfest was good!
