Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is small and the main building is a little bit oldfashioned. I lived in a separarte building which was more updated. The breakfast was average, while The dinner (pepperbeaf) was excellent. No roomcleaning over two days, which is a little bit strange.

The hotel was a bit out dated - both by the interior and by the atmosphere (sleepy). Somehow I felt that I had gone some thirty years back in time - and the feeling was reinforced during the breakfast (which was disappointing by the modern standards). Then again I can not actually complain: I slept well enough, the room was clean enough and they had a good parking space.

Neat hotel in the center of Raahe. Shops and restaurants near by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but there should be more for example gluten free options. Hotel's a la carte was very good!

Normal small town hotel, rooms are comfortable and quiet, in main building. There is part of ther rooms building cross the street. No individual AC, so in summer there might be hot. Parking space is little problem, there isn't clear reserved parking. So daytime finding parking place can be hard. Bathroom was little small but shower was good, there was also option to go general sauna for free of charge. Lobby bar was quiet, no local hang-round, some people having dinner in restaurant. Just grabbed 2 beers and hit to bed... Breakfast was very good Nordic style and had good selection. Extra good coffee also to go.

The location is brilliantn in the center of Raahe. Shops nearby. Well, Raahe is a all town so nothing is far away. The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and ok. To the minisuite belongs an own sauna. No minibar but a fridge in the room and electric kettle, so if you stay longer and don't want to eat in a restaurant every day, you can easily eat in your room. In this case bring your own cutlery. The TV is in most of the rooms attached to the wall, so it is very difficult to connect a HDMI cable on the backside of it. The breakfast is ok but bacon is missing and scrambled eggs are a flabby pap. The price quality rate is with 119€ for a single room and 140€ for a room with own sauna too expensive. It is on Scandic or Sokos level. The rooms are located in two different buildings. The other building is on the other side of the road, about 50m away from the main building.

Our room in 2dn floor was very basic. It almost seemed like dormitory that was emptied for summer :D Our room was clean, beds were okeyish but everything seemed almost too basic and almost odd. Hotel is located dead on downtown and it has on of few regural restaurants that served dinner for family on sunday night. Breakfest was good!

I have been here many times and have seen many rooms. Rooms are very basic Finish hotel rooms, clean but not cozy. Some of the rooms have been repaired and are more comfortable than others. In other side of street rooms are better. Rooms in main building vary a lot. Most awful room was with the door that was making noice hole night... I would say that customer service is practical but not friendly. I would recommend this hotel just if it's necessary to stay in Raahe.

I stayed here for two weeks due to business. Raahe is a small steelworking town that doesn't offer much for the business traveller. The hotel was nice and clean, with jighspeed wifi all over that actually worked. The staff was nice, polite and professionel. Service was ok. The restaurant was fair without being especially good. This little is supposed to be the best hotel in town, which makes the others bad!

Clean small hotel with basic facilities. Allows pets (extra charge). Don't expect anything special and you won't get disappointed. Rooms are OK, clean and fairly spacious. Breakfast has limited options: meatballs, sausages, scrambled eggs, porridge and the normal bread, coffee, tea and yogurt. Since this is one of the few options in Raahe, I would suggest this hotel if you plan to stay here.
