I spent three nights at Frasers recently whilst visiting the UK from NZ. It's a lovely B&B with a lot of character. My en suite room (Cedar room) was small, but clean, well equipped and comfortable. Parking and access were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. Communication around checking in with the owners was easy... More

This is a nice guesthouse and lovely for a short break. The rooms are clean and the breakfast good in a nice dining room. We stayed in the Oak room which is a bit small. This only has a double and not king size bed (you couldn't fit in a bigger bed) so those larger people need to be aware.... More

I have been using Frasers for a few years and their care and attention to detail has not changed since the first time i visited. They are a very welcoming family, and make sure your happy with your room, the breakfast is more than you can eat. Plus the food is from local sources, so the quality is good. They... More

We stayed in the stables behind the house. Our friends stayed in the other one next door. The rooms were very cosy, and the only downside I could say is that there is only a roof window and a frosted one in the door so no view of anything. The decor was fresh and pleasant with a sizeable and substantial... More

Having read the reviews I'm not sure what folk expect but Frasers delivers what it says and is nice enough. We knew it is not staffed 24/7 but we knew that and were met on arrival. Homely and pleasant. Not a plush 5star but it never pretends to be. My only negative was being in the stable block which is... More

We recently stayed for one night at this lovely residence. The room was very comfortable, extremely clean, lovely linens, peaceful and restful. We stayed in the Mexican Room. The service is impeccable, from check in, to breakfast and check out. Really friendly but professional staff. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for them, everything is thought of... More

A great place to stay, we only stayed one night, we mixed up the nights and Frasers were excellent about it and booked us in for the next night. I find it quite difficult to sleep even a home and always worry in case I can't sleep, however, Frasers thinks of everything, there are blackout blinds and curtains which a... More

We only stayed one night but it was a good choice for our needs. As it mentions in the booking information and on the website, the property is not manned constantly so you need to give a time of arrival and someone will meet you. If you are unable to specify there is a telephone number to ring and as... More
