Would agree with most other comments about this hotel, it had the feeling of an old peoples home. The views were good but with a balcony you couldn't swing a cat on not of much use. The 'hotel' wasn't really a hotel it was just rooms there were no other facilities. No bar/coffee facilities etc. Our room boasted stained carpets... More

The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view of the ocean. It has the potential to be a great hotel but unfortunately it is stuck in the 1970s. The furniture is dated and the beds are horrible. I am only 6 feet tall my legs hung 1 foot off the end of each bed and the pillows... More

Fantastic location with jaw dropping views, 15 minutes walk from town, friendly & helpful staff. We ate there one night & the food was good, we had hake 'a la plancha'. The restaurant staff were brilliant, there were only two of them but they kept everyone happy with first class service. Our room, 114, had great sea views but it... More

The outstanding aspect of hotel Miramar are the views it enjoys over the beach at San Vicente. It is situated on the other side of the estuary but has an unbroken view across the bay. The hotel is about 800m down the road past the harbour so is very quiet as it is away from the main part of town.... More

The main attraction to this hotel is two-fold : plenty of parking space and incredible views. Our spacious room had a balcony overlooking the estuary and huge surfing beach-all with a lovely backdrop of mountains.. We could sit drinking wine and watch fishing boats going out to sea. It's just a little frustrating that the main beach which looks so... More

We stayed for 1 night. The hotel is nice enough, but feels a bit tired. Bed was comfortable. Chairs were small and had no support. Nice deck, but main view was of the parking lot. The room smelled a bit musty and I sneezed a lot while there. Breakfast was below average. Nice variety, but not great quality. A solid... More

We keep returning to this part of Spain, drawn by the rare combination of very different culture, world-famous cave paintings, stunning mountains and unspoilt coast, all within easy reach. You need a car to get the most out of the scenery so we always travel to Santander with Brittany Ferries who offer very flexible packages from a wide range of... More

This is a sleepy old hotel in a sleepy town. Rooms a good size, but only option was 2 single beds placed together. There was a plastic mattress protector under a thin sheet - not the best feel. Beds were quite hard and a little uncomfortable. Other than being a little dated, the decor was fine, the carpet clean. Staff... More

It must be one of the best locations anywhere ,overlooking the harbour, with the mountains in the distance, the rooms could do with an update, but saying that most comfortable and a large balcony.and at 60 euros a night, cheap. Make sure you eat in their restaurant ,best food for miles, and the staff at dinner and breakfast are simply the best.
