we stayed here at easter for a few days,a really nice place on the out-skirts of san vincente,on the edge of a national park you can walk through the green fields to the rocky coast or into the historic town.Lots of places to visit in the area and easy access to Santander airport. The posada is really good, well maintained and nothing...

What you see in the description is what you get. The hotel is set in the middle of farmland and very close to a rocky cove which whilst we were there, never had more than 4 other people on it. The location is not for the 'faint hearted' ! the walk back from the rocky cove is up hill through...

The location is as scenic as you can immagine - in the middle of green meadows, overlooking a picturesque piece of coast and with scenic mountains in the background. No noise, just waves and tingle of cow bells. Ran by a friendly family, very comfortable rooms, free wi-fi. Very reasonable price. A bit out of town, so best for those...

Perched above the scenic little town of san Vicente de la Barquera, and enjoying a magnificent view of the sea, lies this lovely red guest house. The owner gave us a warm welcome and showed us to a lovely room. It was large, with an exposed stone wall and other walls in salmon pink. Excellent free wifi connection and free...

We staued at this posada for 4 nights and found it to be comfortable and welcoming. Our room overlooked the sea and a field full of cows and their calves - wonderful and very relaxing to wake in the morning to hear calves lapping and the waves crashing. It was a lovely spot, in the heart of the country yet...

A family run posada as there are many in Spain. The owners are friendly and helpful. We booked this place because it seemed to be quiet as it is out of the village and only fields seperate the house from the sea. However, we were disappointed because the doors made a terrible noise everytime someone closed or opened them -...

A bench behind the B&B afforded us great views, even in the rain. Last two weeks of May would have been a better decision than first two. The owner, Hector, always made sure that we had the necessary wine glasses for our picnic on the bench! Would love to return.

Just wanted to confirm what others have said about what a bargain Posada Punta Linera is, as well as its beautiful and convenient location. We arrived without a reservation and, although we wanted to stay 3 nights (Wed. thru Fri) we were only able to get 2, as Friday was already booked solid. Besides the in-room TV (reception not always...

This place is an absolute gem run by a lovely chap who doesn't speak English but that wasn't a problem. We were very lucky that a friend who lives in Spain recommended and booked Punta Linera for us. The posada is in a great location overlooking green fields running down to the ocean and is a 10-15 minute walk to...

What a discovery this was! After trawling through lists of hotels, guesthouses and 'casas rurales', we came across Posada Rural Punta Liñera. Located on a country road that takes you from the port area (Barrio de Boria) out past grazing cows with the stunning backdrop of the Picos de Europa on the left and the vastness of the Cantabrian Sea...
