Dropped in for lunch and it was very tasty. Excellent partridge terrine and warming parsnip soup and the best sweet potato, fries ever. Will definitely be back for dinner. Warm and friendly environment. Then walked around the friendly village. Raines the ironmongers is a great shop - an Aladdins cave that you don't expect in such a small town.

We stayed for food, and it was AMAZING French cuisine!! Truly amazing!!! Also nice walks in the area, the locals so friendly, just chat to them...

The rooms at the Forresters are cosy and warm and well equipped. Very unusual in that the bathroom is upstairs so not good for disabled guests but for most...

The service was excellent with great attention to detail and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The whole occasion was delightful and the staff went out of their way to...

There is a huge range on the menu, and it is all served extremely hot and beautifully displayed. The meals are also good value - and very filling. The ambiance in the Forresters is welcoming,...
