We were met on arrival by a young girl who was very nice she took us to our room and showed us what we needed to know.in the morning at breakfast we were met by the same girl who made our breakfast .(it was meant to be her day off)she was very nice and pleasant .she even asked over our...

Unassuming pub and well worth a visit for good traditional food, perfectly located for moors, coast and some great golf courses. Fish and chips are spectacular. Holly behind the bar is charm personified

We went to this restaurant/pub admittedly about 11 years ago. It has changed a lot in that time I would say not for the better when I booked and asked for the restaurant it was made clear we would be the only couple in there. We arrived and greeted very warmly by the young guy behind the bar we went to...

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with very good service. Got a very friendly welcome and enjoyed the meal. Yorkshire puds were the best and the beef was especially nice. All 7 of us got served at the same time and everyone ate it all!! Defiantly will be visiting again.

Smelly corridors, hopeless shower, broken bedsprings, all doors need oiling, at least the breakfast was good. No notice in room about what to do in case of fire, I think this is illegal. Couldn't care less attitude by proprietors. Don't go.

We stayed for one night, and I have to say were disappointed with the standard of the place. It was very tired and in need of refurbishment - and a good deep clean. Everything felt just slightly sticky, from the tables in the 'family room' downstairs, to the furniture in the rooms. The food felt rather over-fried (we ate in...

Booked a family room for 2 nights {Not too bad} it wasn't huge but we were informed of this. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom let it down, the sink was cracked, the grout in between the tiles black with mould and the shower was temperamental. After our first night the beds weren't made and the room was not...

We didn't plan to come here but we're really glad we pulled in for lunch! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The barmaid offered to change sides for the kids meals if they wanted and made everyone feel really welcome. But the pie! Real pie with a proper crust! And they were stuffed full!! Stuffed! We demolished them! Amazeballs!

We stayed in a family room with two singles and a sofa bed. Arriving back to the room at night all looked OK. The sofa bed was not the comfiest thing to sleep on but the children's beds were fine- the bed linen was lovely though. In daylight the room looked a little different. Tired at best- but basically in...

I booked on-line with Expedia for a B&B in Malton, up came The Wentworth Arms and the reviews seem fine. So we booked a twin room, so far so good. On arriving the room had no en suite, just a private bathroom (shower) down the hall and up and down 3 steps!, a little inconvenient in the middle of the...
