Passing by on a very wet & cold afternoon we noticed the Plough Inn had a marquee. As only outside eating is currently aloud we decided to give it a go. We were welcomed in with our dog and seated by a lovely lady who I guess was the manageress. All rules were explained about masks & distancing. The Plough has gone to considerable lengths to accommodate customers outside, erecting a marquee, with heaters and blankets which were really needed. We ordered sandwiches, fries and soup which was ample for lunch and all the staff were most polite and helpful. We will be coming back soon with our family and do recommend a visit to the Plough Inn.

We visited the plough inn yesterday to experience there outside dinning and I have to say it was the best outside experience we have had since restaurants where able to reopen! It was warm and inviting with heaters and blankets if it got cold and they made the place a really cool outside experience even with the wet weather we had. Also I thought the hay bails where a really nice touch. We all had starter mains and puds and everything came in good time and was delicious, could not fault any of the food and enjoyed it all, the staff looked after our every need and it was just a lovely experience after having some bad ones at other local pubs. I can highly recommend the plough inn for a great outside eating experience I will definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay here. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't be more professional and friendly. Especially given the challenging COVID environment. The effort they have put in to facilitate the guidelines is second to none. Our room was perfect with ample parking. We can't wait to return.
