The hosts, Florence & Juliette, are welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this inn, close to Magog and Sherbrooke, an oasis of calm and refreshing time with my family.
We stayed for 3 nights for a mid-week pandemic break and found it so relaxing and comfortable. The hosts (Juliette and Florence) helped us find places to have dinner and also sights to see. We must especially mention the creative and satisfying breakfasts! Florence is an inventive chef with wonderful taste buds. A place to revisit.
All vas well maintained, well located. Breakfast was fantastic! Very nice heated pool with nice chairs. We did enjoy the firepit. Feels like home. Nice and confirtabke room. Thanks to the owner! We were very satisfy We will go back
My husband and I spent one perfect evening at the Auberge. Our hostesses, Juliette and Florence were kind and very accommodating. The auberge is small (5 guest rooms), cozy, and impeccably clean. We made use of the outdoor hot tub, infrared sauna, and fireplace. Books, cards, and board games are available. The next morning we were served a wonderful and healthy breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we needed, peace and quiet. We will return in the summer.
Stayed here for one night and it went very well. The people running the place were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the building itself was quite cozy. Wish we could've stayed longer!
We booked between Christmas and New Years for a two night stay with another family. They had stayed here once before when it was run by the former proprietors. We ended up staying an extra night so we ended up staying in every room except Tour 5. I can say that they all are very nice and comfy. Some bigger than the others but all of them well decorated. From the moment we arrived the new owners, Mireille and Dave, made us feel right at home. The weather didn't cooperate with our skiing plans and one of the kids got sick but Dave and Mireille made us feel like we were staying with family. From the fresh breakfast, homemade with locally sourced healthy foods to brewing Yogi tea and drying our rain soaked ski gear I felt like I was at my sisters house. When we ordered dinners to be delivered the table was set for us. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Whether your a couple looking for a quiet place or a family looking for reasonable lodging it is an excellent choice. The spa and hot tub are on the smaller side but were able to accommodate the needs of our two families. The living room is ample and there are games to play if you desire or just read by the fire that Dave has perfected. I look forward to a return visit and maybe a chance to experience Mireille's yoga class but I'm really going back for those breakfasts.…
Wow this place is just amazing in terms of food, very healthy and so good yummy !! Very well located near the mountain and many other attractions. Bedroom had a very nice size and rustic comfy. We enjoyed the sauna and the spa, we also relaxed in front of the fireplace. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, just a very nice B&B. Thank you !!
The hosts were wonderfully friendly, helpful with suggestions of things to do and good restaurants in town, and made our weekend getaway so nice. We did some hiking in the National park, walked around the town, and if we had known we could rent bikes in the area we would have loved to stay longer! The house is very comfortable and relaxing, and happily they had air conditioning (not common in Montreal in the summer!). And the location is great - just off the highway and at the base of the national park, and a short drive into a quaint little town with nice restaurants and shops. Definitely will go back!
Great location; we rode our bikes to the Parc National and its fantastic trails, then came out at the park entrance and found a great restaurant for lunch less than a mile away. The hosts are delightful. Veronique cooked up two amazing - and enormous - breakfasts; she's a wonderful cook and clearly enjoys serving them to her guests. We would definitely come back!
This was a great find. The owners could not have been nicer. The accommodations were well worth the price. They have a hot tub which is just what we wanted after dinner. Will definitely return! This BnB is close to Magog, so there are plenty of nice restaurants and shops. We ate at fondissimo. (Fondue and byob- which was nice). If you've not been to Magog in the winter, don't forget to also bring you ice skates
