The last 3 nights of our Lapland camper tour, we would stay with our camper at this camping side. A beatifull place at the river. Because the river was very high, melting winter ice, we could'nt stay direct at the riverside, the ground was very wet and slippery. Also we were afraid to have a big problem to drive away after staying at that wet ground. It's a very quiette and wonderfull nature camping. But, the service building is very old fashioned and old, really a shame to offer to your guests ! 3 ladies toilets, 1 out of order. 2 ladies showers, very very old. Because I'm disabled, we asked before paying, about the disabled one, no comment of the owner, it was available, € 30,00 per night, including electricity, Wifi ???. The disabled toilet-shower was beside the 2 showers, the door, cann't be closed on a normal way, you have to use power, most disabled persons don't have power, neighter do I. The floors are so slippery, not any handle is available. There's only 1 instable stool, very low. The handles beside the toilet, you cannot put them down. It's really a shame ! Really everything is neglected. It's a pity, it's such a beatifull place ! …

Hienolla paikalla ”uuden” ( lue: vanhan) yrittäjän toimesta siistiytynyt paikka. Hieno paikka levähtää yön yli tai viettää vaikka koko viikko. Omistajalta saa vinkkejä ja ohjeita aktiviteetteihin. Hinta/laatu suhde erittäin hyvä.

En 3 stjerners campingplads må man ikke forvente Store ting af!! Gratis bad (24 timer, døgnet rundt, griner bestyren) storslået udsigt til Torna elven, Dejlig natur , ikke overbefolket, Køkkenet under middel gr mgl skabe. Mad og opvask kan foregå.. Bad og toilet ganske funktionelt Stedet er baseret på fiskere (stang) og sauna.... mange hytter El.. € 30 pr nat for campingvogn

We where fishing with whole family. Also dogs where with us. Everything was fine in camping area. Not new like yesterday builded, but everything worked fine and toilets where clean. We are coming again. ps. We also got one salmon.

We made the mistake to pay before we had seen the huts (we arrived late and just wanted somewhere to sleep). When we got our keys and looked in the huts we found out that they were old, poorly maintained and that it was very warm inside, the windows cannot be opened. These were the biggest huts with own bathroom. We decided to move on as we would not get any sleep here. We asked the caretaker to cancel the payment, which they have not done. Do not go here and definitely do not pay before you check out the huts.

Everything doesn't have to always be brand new, but it should at least be clean.. Makes me angry to pay money for dirty toilets, broken showers and untidy surroundings. They could at least try to make an effort. We stayed one night in our camper van. Service was alright.

This place is not worth the money. We spent one night, and would not recomend Pello Camping to other travellers. The sanitary conditions were poor, and considering the price and quality, this is an expensive stay. The only positive about Pello camping is the location. Beautifully located by the river.

We were hoping to enjoy from salmon fishing but got disappointed on many levels. Rented boat was broken. Cabin was moist and smelled like mold. Bed linings were super dirty. People were mostly drunk and noisy. Thank god the river was great even though we did not catch big ones this time.

we used this camping twice sleeping in tent when passing Pello from Helsinki to Tromso and back in July. it is conveniently situated nearby main road and is located on the river side. that is why there are fishermen around. we could stay in the forest and it would be better in the sense that it is not so cold and wet and no people around making noise. but the camping offers water and possibility to make coffee in the morning. it was cold at night in the tent because of the fog from the river. camping has toilet, bath, kitchen, sauna and grill places. toilet and kitchen rooms look old inside, kitchen does not have the coffeemaker, we just boiled a water, other staff is missing too, there is no soap in the toilet-bath room. we guess other campings in the area are worn down in the same way. it seems there are mainly people with driving homes and they take tent place as well, so expect to sleep nearby the driving home. camping cost 16 eur per night for two adults.…
