Expected a much better place since the price is quite high. Our room was very modest and small. The bathroom is absolutely outdated, the shower has not enough pressure. Coffee maker inc! Looks good outside though. Romantic and Christmacy!
Gasthaus Lohja is something of a time travel to the 1970-80's in a funny sort of way. Located just roadside, it's a good place to stay on a road trip in the beautiful Länsi-Uusimaa sceneries. The rooms are quite modest and could need some brushing-up. But the over-all impression is nice and interesting. Top staff in the kitchen and behind the bar. Worth spending at least one night.
Something different in the small city good food prices are a bit higher for what you got. Came here as a big group. Relaxed atmosphere and the few local beers. Also there is a hotel above the restaurant
When all you need is a clean room, good bed, a shower and decent breakfast this is the place for you. There is a restaurant as well, but I didn’t have time to try it. The bed was comfortable. Rooms clean. Friendly personel. Would certainly stay here again when I visit Lohja.
I stayed for one night during a business trip. It is a small nice Hotel. Clean rooms, not big but convenient! A small balcony is around the room and you can enjoy warm summer evenings outside with a book and a beer. The staff is very friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good! The breakfast is small but there is something for everybody. A short distance to the lake and downtown Lohja makes it is to get there by walk. Will choose this Hotel definitely at my next business trip to Lohja again!
Nice place close to the center of Lohja. Our room was very simple and ascetic but then again we only slept there. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Personnel was nice. A family type owned "hotel". The price was quite high for the facilities available. Showers quite old.
We stayed at the Gasthaus, and found it's convenient situation meant an easy walk into the city of Lohja, along with walks to Lake Lohja, and to our friends' home. Visiting in Springtime was ideal. Although nights and mornings were cool, fine weather during the longer days meant we could explore the area comfortably. Our accommodation was very comfortable, breakfasts in the dining room delicious and service was excellent.
Visited for a gathering of 5 families, all with children. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner family and staff who have operated this hotel since early 2014. Before that the hotel, once of high standard, had somewhat run down. Now it has been upgraded. Much of the interior remains somewhat old with some wear and tear, but everything worked, and as a compensation service is kind and attentive. The hotel is within a walking distance (~1 km) to town centre.
