Detailed Reviews
The place is located very close to the Turku- Helsinki road E18, just a stones throw away form E18. It was once a family home of the owners, and they have kept it well maintained with the rustic charm, definitely a nostalgic place, with romantic wallpapers and artifacts.
The owner was very helpful, and our small children found small things to play with. will definitely stay there again.

I chose the Koivulan Kartano for a few nights instead of a "chain hotel" and enjoyed my stay. The place is easy to reach and yet on the countryside. I got a room from the main building upstairs, number 7. Space enough for myself, because it was a three persons room. Nicely decorated and homely. Upstairs there are a few other rooms, a living room with lots of books, board games, a sauna with s bathroom and even a complete kitchen and dinette!!
The room was clean and fairly peacefull. Some of the traffic can be heard from the service station nearby. It didn´t bother me though. I slept very well.
Breakfast was good and there was plenty too eat. There is also a cafetaria with a terrace at the main building. Lot´s of space for parking. There are also some rooms at the building next door.
Generally speaking the place is nice and peacefull, but might need some boost in the function self. The maintenance is a little on the poor side.

We arrived unannounced and was warmly welcomed. Beautiful surroundings, authentic farmhouse and great breakfast. Jutta was a warm and kind hearted lady who rescued us from a night in the car!

+1
We have been at Koivulan Kartano at the beginning of January. We were in the separate little house that was very cosy. The room was spacious, clean and the owner extremely kind. In those days there was freezing cold from the north and the ownwer asked us if we wanted extra heath in the room. It was so abnormally cold that she went to buy some extra electrical heaters and she handed one to us : any way we switched it on only some times because our room was already pleasantly warm. The breakfast was good and let me say again, the owner extremely kind. I definitely would recommend it and if I go back to lohja I surely will go there again

On the way to Turku we spent one night here in their red farmhouse. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and cosy. The owner was kind and friendly. Breakfast was good. The area was quiet and peaceful. It is a nice break from the hactic city life.
