I stayed in this hotel for One Night, we had a meeting during Saturday and ala carte dinner in the evening. The meeting room was sufficient and simple. The room was in the rinnetalo, "Hill House", and the room was a time capsyle from the 1980s, the bed was too short for me and the shower cabin was too tight for me. Needs refurbishment ASAP. The Ala carte dinner was Good in the restaurant, but the breakfast was not very good. I think the offering was not very good, compared for example with Scandic. Reception and hotel staff were helpful and friendly. I did not go to the spa, would have been nice. I think the hotel needs a renovation to attract more customers.
Bad: unprofessional restaurant, e.g. rude staff and 2/3 empty seats 17:00-20:00 reserved for people arriving later, waiters don't know what kind of meat/fish is in the buffet. The spa pool had a sharp edge at the bottom (cut my son's foot!), bathrobe for more than 2 guests per room costs 7€ extra. Good: food tasted good, spa was small but had a lot of different pools, free gym.
Room At the main building were little bit outdated. Spa was nice with different saunas. Not so big area but now there was not too much people. A la carte food was fine! Breakfast was Basic. Something that used to be in other Hotels was missing but normal sortiment.
We has two room in beachhouse, connecting room, 3 beds one room. Beach was peaceful and nice. Café with dinks. Many activities. We are pitsa for lunch at the roof terrace and it was great! Nice view and good service, delisious pitsa. Breakfast was smal, old bread, not so good. Spa was small, there were 2-3 sauna and therapy showers wich was funny 😂
Area beautiful. Hotel very old. Rooms very standard motel style. Spa ok. Small. Big disappointment - buffet dinner. Expensive. Only one warm meal choice = industrial made lassgne. Bad. Overall not positive experience. Would not recommend. Only lake scenary is worth while.
We spent the weekend with family at Lohja spa. Safety measures due to COVID-19 The hotel was too crowded and did not feel safe place to be. Breakfast room too small, no hand sanitizers at the table, no safety distance. I did not see anyone cleaning the cutlery. Also rooms did not feel clean. No possibility to book the visiting time to spa. Only for the breakfast. We especially booked this spa since it is very strong in marketing their actions to be "corona safe". For example, Hotel Långvik was much better in this. Rooms We had to stay in the separate building where the rooms that allow the ogs are. Rooms are very outdated, dirty bed, not nice. I understand that the rooms with pet are always "downgraded" but just changing curtains, bringing a bit more color etc would have helped. Spa Since the hotel is so crowded, I did not dare to go to spa. But heard that is good compared to other facilities.…
We have visited Lohja Spa (previously Päiväkumpu Spa) before when it was not renovated and then the quality-price ratio was bad. However, when we visited just couple of days ago, we were in for a big surprise. The spa is now one of the best ones in Finland, for example, compared to Naantali Spa. The variety of different spa elements, such as two jacuzzis, comprehensive sauna area, sound pool (where you can listen to classical music underwater, very relaxing), climbing walls beside the main pool and heated relaxation loungers made our visit excellent. We will return for sure. We visited in the afternoon around 2-3pm and it was very nice and quiet.
We had nice stay in Lohja Spa. Apartments were really modern and clean, and well sound insulated so kids staying next door should not interrupt your sleep. There was fridge on each room. Breakfast and dinner buffet were average, nothing special. Spa area was really good and clean, lots of different type of pools, saunas and showers. Hotel bar was well equipped to enjoy couple of drinks in the evening. Big terrace with lake view. Great place to spend a relaxing weekend.
I had long waited for the opportunity to visit the renovated spa and finally got the opportunity to test both the beach houses and the sauna-pool department with a nice price. The pool area had a salt sauna, a steam sauna and two different-themed electric saunas, a couple of Jacuzzis (surprisingly cool water in both), a cold water pool and a warm water pool next to each other, as well as a traditional swimming pool and children's pool and a few water massage points and Kneip pools (cold and warm water walking tracks). Wonderful three way-showers beside electric saunas. During my visit, it was quiet and I could try out all these gadgets. I was very fond of the cold water pool and my longtime favorite salt sauna. The beach house room was quite small, equipped with an electric kettle with coffee / tea and also bathrobes but no slippers. There were also a few spa products in the bathroom. A small outdoor terrace with furniture was towards the lake view. Bed was pretty good. A big shortcoming for a spa hotel: the room did not have a rack for drying out swimming suits. During the winter season it is possible to take a dip in the lake thorough a hole in the ice (avanto) and enjoy the warmth of the lakeside sauna, extra charge of 5 EUR/person. Without sauna, swimming out can take place anytime, but it is not safe to go to the "avanto" alone as the water is freezing cold. Dinner buffet was at a reasonable price but I was disappointed with the salad options and the boiled potatoes had a really thick surface. At breakfast, the bread selection, juice and omelet product were disappointing. However, lactose-free and gluten-free products are well presented at the restaurant. Great location and nice sauna department create a good basis for a short vacation in Spa hotel Päiväkumpu. There is also possibility to arrive with public transportation. Check in time is quite late, at 4 PM and check out at noon. We didn't have time for spa treatments but there are e.g. massage and facial treatments available. I didn't use the gym either. Reception personnel was friendly and overall I was satisfied with my visit.…
Large structure on the lake, it has the potential to be a very good hotel. Unfortunately the service is far below expectations (both in what they offer and in the lack of kindness and customer satisfaction approach). The restaurant is quite disappoimnting. A missed opportunity.
